Guys, we're all Christians here. And yes we are Chan users and that means one of the sins that is most familiar to us is unkindness. But really this is not what we've been called to. We're not going to convince each other of anything if we keep saying every other denomination is going to hell and that they are heretics. We are supposed to be treating, especially the brethren, with kindness and longsuffering. So how are we going to clean up our acts?

This board was once calm and content to discuss the fruits of the Spirit amongst each other. That was lost after a certain element of Catholics chose to reign over the rest. That period caused further division until now where both sides attack each other. All are at fault. There is not a sect among us that is not corrupted from the top down.

We should weed out true heresy, but little quibbles should be let alone.

It will take some time for the board to heal. The era of Catholic reign and persecution was enforced by moderation at that time, and the memories are still fresh. In the mean time, the best course is to call others here and to make this place more lively. The more discussion and bearing fruit, the better.

I was there before this happened. It's not really true, there were plenty of discussions back then.

My church is not corrupted at all. We all go to assemblies in-person all the time. If there was corruption, then the corrupt people would have to go find somewhere else to meet.

I think it would be smart to follow Pascal's advice about arguments, this would clear up a lot of disagreement. The basics of the method involve saying "I agree with you, but." Doing so prevents us from injuring one another's pride, since everyone likes to have the best argument.

We are sinners, so one should expect in each person an insoluble amount of pride, unless God has wrought miracles on a person.
