I'm going to sage this, because it is just memeing the idea that Christianity and science are at odds. Not only that, but no Christian ever has seriously believed that human actions are so free and unfettered as the modern philosophical concept of free will would suppose.
Philosophy doesn't recognize the concept of sin as an abiding fact of the human condition, so philosophers believe humans can choose the good. The Bible however, calls mankind evil, and unable to choose the good. It's not that everything we do is depraved according to the Bible, but we lack the purity of heart to make truly free choices.
This being the Christian truth, we should set a much lower importance on human responsibility. It is God who, although we are evil, works tirelessly to turn our evil into good.
So if Neurology says that humans are less responsible than humans generally assume because we have fallible minds, then I would embrace it. So much more evil is caused by unforgiving moral judgements we pass on one another that the evil caused by deliberate irresponsibility.
