Is it a sin to be obsessed with anime? If so, how do I stop being obsessed with so much anime?

Giving yourself more responsibilities would make it impossible to be obsessed with anime, like providing for a family

Well, if your expenses are provided for and your objective is putting away anime I would recommend getting very involved in volunteer work while looking for other employment

It's a sin to be obsessed with anything that isn't of God. And as your original image points out, Anime and Japanese Vidya is rife with occult themes.

its a sin to be obsessed with anything, really. there is nothing wrong with liking anime, just like there isnt anything wrong with liking croatian basketweaving videos, but at a certain point, appreciation becomes idolatry.
if you want a normal opinion, though, otaku stuff isnt a great indication of social ability or anything. its also kind of weird to most people. you might want to work on social skills
