So is it safe to assume most of you adopted Christianity just so you could try and win some retarded culture war after fedora atheism stopped being trendy and don't have any serious spiritual convictions?

Listen here, kid. Pay attention, bucko. I've translated the Bible for six different unreached people groups in the 10/40 window. I have an mdiv, mts, thm, PhD, and dds I use for my third world dentist missionary agency I planted from scratch. Ok son? I have Strong's concordance MEMORIZED. When I read the Bible I just read the Strong's numbers. I've been to the holy land so many times the tourism board of Israel named a road after me. I'm there constantly, that is when I'm on sabbatical from the mission field in Northwest Burma. You should see my library of Lewis and Tozer manuscripts, originals I've picked up on my travels.
And you wouldn't believe the spiritual warfare. My wife, ten sons and I (quiverful) are constantly casting demons out from our doorstep in the name of Jesus. The enemy feels threatened by our lives but we consider it joy every day.
So yeah, don't come at me thinking I'm just some reactionary, brother. I'm a born again onward marching soldier in the Lord's army.

This board needs a star of david flag for our visitors.
My family left the church after Vatican II. Thus, the Church was destroyed and the gates of hell prevailed. Out covenant with Christ was apparently broken.
But I found out on Half Chan a few years ago, that the gates of hell did not prevail, that there was a remnant. So, there was a church to go back to.

No one here sincerely believes in any of this, any interaction with them on a 1-to-1 level will show as much.

Pretty much. I've been a Catholic my entire life and always end up in confrontations with the (((new converts))) here. They cannot believe real Catholics don't conform to their Catholic stereotype. They didn't want to convert to real Catholicism. They don't even know what it is. They just wanted to follow trends and pretend to be a shallow facsimile of a Catholic before moving on to technoprostitution or whatever the next trend is. They're barely even sentient, just hollow shells designed to take orders from people who speak in a certain tone.

This board is even less about winning a culture war than when Steven Anderson was popular and we were on the 8ch domain. Now I see real evidences of the spirit here.

You seem to be confused. If you subscribe to Anderson's heretical notion that repentance is Judaizing the gospel, then why are you bearing a Catholic flag?

Somewhat on the money I recon…
Became interested in Christianity after watching JP lectures, had already grown up in an evangelical family. Was convinced of Christianity's positive role in forming Western civilisation and being the greatest basis upon which civil discussion should all rest, and thus began practicing the faith. No success in turning the tide against sin, that only came after a conversion experience where for the first time, being confronted with my ineptitude to tackle sin, felt a genuine spiritual conviction to turn away from it, thus experiencing repentance, and the understanding of the personal need for a saviour. In the pursuit of God's grace was where I then experienced success in turning the tide against sin.
Certainly, part of becoming Roman Catholic was the search for a bulwark against the scourge of post-modern thought infecting much of mainline protestantism, and becoming acceptant of the historical argument and seeing stability in the RCC's magisterium. So yes, you could say part of this all was wanting to win a culture war. But for myself, am certainly not devoid of spiritual conviction.

I noticed many homilies in different Trad parishes were anti-Hitler. The statistics were such that there were far too many for it to be a coincidence.
