And when they do that for themselves, they inevitably develop an appreciation for another man doing the same in his own land. They start seeing themselves in the Irishman, the German, the Japanese, etc.. If all Jews became Israelis, I believe it'd be a good thing for everybody. That alone would take them out of the machinery of someone's else's politics, someone else's corporations, and someone's entertainment, and away from someone else's youth.

Jews aren't anything special, tbh, they are just middleman minorities that dialed up the tribalism due to having to fight for surival against a lot of people that don't like them.
It's telling the minorities that get themselves into the most trouble, such as kurds, gypsies and afro-americans(well, american blacks also got sabotaged whenever a semblance of community or civil leaders sprang up, imo) are nationless people.
Unlike people with a homeland, they have to stay separated from the host nation culturally(even if it involves being d—s to them), or else they die.
Immigrants don't have to do that, which is why they either assimilate into the mainstream over a long enough time, or if the discrimination gets too bad, they go to their new homeland(tatars have been moving to Tatarstan or Turkey when stuff like Russia invading Crimea, or commies persecuting them in Romania happened).
Afro-americans did pretty well for themselves when translated back in West Africa, and formed their own tribes(Afro-Liberians, Creoles, Aku people) in their host nations.
In fact they did a little too well, and ending up being a new aristocratic class over the natives, which caused civil war inducing ethnic tensions.
It's also a good way to get rid of dumb far-left or far-right ideologies
The only remaining armed rebellions are either commies, islamists or ethnic separatists, and in many cases the first 2 are tied into national struggles(Kurds and their communist terrorism, Palestinians and their islamist and far-left parties, and a lot of such things in Asia too).
Israel was big into socialism at start, which is why you still have a lot of kibbutz, and soccer teams called Hapoel("Labour"), but having to build their nation(and being allied to Murica) meant that stuff fizzled, and nationalism and capitalism became fashionable with Israelis.
