I've never really been a religious person. Read the bible in my youth and visited several churches but wasn't really keen on it. I do believe in a higher power and that Jesus is the son of God who died for our sins however.
One aspect that has been haunting me however were the strange apparitions that been visiting me for a long part of my life during sleep. It was so bad at one point that i became an insomniac. After several years i figured a way to snap out of visitations by moving my limbs or finger. The visitations didn't stop but one recent encounter wasn't like the others which is why i want to know if there is a permanent solution to these things. Is it just my brain playing tricks on me or is really something demonic?

Follow Jesus. And when you see these, you can say "The Lord rebuke you." I did that and it helped, but I think you need to follow Jesus first because the Bible makes mention of this and say to rejoice that your name is in the book of life.
