The KJV unironically is God. Not the physical copies themselves but the words.

>"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

>John 1:1 (KJV)

The Bible only depicts Jesus. Jesus is a man. Born of a woman. With real blood to die for you, so you wouldn't go on in stupidity like this. He was not born of a Printing Press, with ink. But Blood.

Why does that even need to be spelled out for you? He even existed separately in the same space and time as the Hebrew scriptures that he read in Synagogue. Yet you think a translation somehow is his incarnation, when he didn't do that with the original source text.

Also, the "Life is in the blood" as the scriptures themselves say. It didn't say this about ink and paper.

Jesus is God, he can do anything. He has the ability to be in multiple places at once and he has the ability to become what he wants. The KJV Bible has always existed since it is God the Son, and then it was revealed to mankind in the original Greek and Hebrew scriptures which have only been preserved in the KJV as God intended them to be. Things that seem temporal to us are eternal to God.

You're getting your teachings from a silly woman. Just so you know. Gail Riplinger. She's even a pariah among KJV Onlyists. You're doing her dirty work and making the whole movement look like psychos. She's the one who first pushed this "mystical" quality of the KJV being Jesus himself.

This is a good example why Paul told you to not get your teachings from women. They are fundamentally silly people. She's no better than the woman who lingered at my apartment gate a little while ago, not taking the guest gate, and then nearly running into my car. They are out of control and need direction on even the basic things in life. Yet here you are being the pathetic simp on something as important as the scriptures.

And again, Jesus even warned the Jews who put their own writings on a pedestal.

"Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me." - John 5:39

Blasphemy!

Jesus is the Word of God (Rev19:13).

Christians worship scripture, words of man. Paul is the main character in NT. Paul's words are not God's Words. Hear Jesus only. "This is my beloved Son, Hear Him."

Wouldn't the word of god be the Hebrew and Aramaic?

I mean we know who translated the King James Bible. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_James_Version#Translation_committees It was these dudes. They translated it from another, earlier version.

Seems kinda arbitrary that this specific version that's not the earliest nor the most recent but just so happens to be the one that's written in your native language and has a cool exotic old times vibe to it but no as strongly as the earlier ones which would be too difficult for you to understand is the ACTUAL true bible and word of god.

The Douay Rheims Bible was meant to be as true as possible to the Word.

The King James was meant to be pretty and poetic, made for more literary merit than truth. Which is why it has unicorns n' shieet. It also had a very human agenda that was motivated by politics.

You have dozens of different versions of the Bibles and pick and choose whatever fits your affinity for sin.

Catholics have the Vulgate, and in English the Douay Rheims which was translated to be accurate, not to attract with the promise that sin's okay to fill the collection basket

Your drv isn't even used in your mass. Why do I know this and you don't?

The DRV is literally a translation of a translation. It is undeniable that Protestant translations like the NASB are more accurate.

>Your drv isn't even used in your mass. Why do I know this and you don't?

In the Latin Mass, of course the Latin Vulgate is used and the translations in the Roman missal are from the Douay Rheims.

Which is entirely beside the point I made. I'll give you the benefit of a doubt and say that you stumbled into a red herring.

From the introduction of the Douay Rheims…

Translated from the Latin Vulgate

Diligently compared with the Hebrew, Greek and other versions in diverse languages

So, yes, it's a translation from the Latin but then compared with other texts to ensure they have the meaning.

Father Jenkins explained this in the video previously cited.

You "know" what you know because Protestant Churches are less than truthful.

I didn't say you were wrong, I said you were using a fallacy of irrelevance e.g. that the Latin Vulgate is used in mass is not relevant to the issue of the best English translation of the Bible.

But you were wrong here:

'' Why do I know this and you don't?"

I obviously know that the Latin Bible is used in the Latin Mass.

John 1:1 is talking about Jesus because Jesus Christ is the word of God and Jesus is the word made flesh not the word made print.

>John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we saw his glory, the glory as it were of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

You'd see that if you made it past the verse of John….

The KJV has errors in it… You are making three different blasphemies 1) Calling God's word erroneous and 2) Saying God is an error and 3) denying Jesus Christ is the word made flesh…

It's not simple mistranslated passages but some verses are also in fact mistranslated but real and actual errors as in words added to them that has no Greek manuscript support.

Revelation 16:5 in the KJV says

>And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.

It is supposed to say

>And I heard the angel of the waters saying: Thou art just, O Lord, who art, and who wast, the Holy One, because thou hast judged these things

It mistranslated Luke 1:28.

The in the KJV Luke 1:28 reads

>And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women

It's supposed to say

>And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art favored with Grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women

This is why the Catholic bibles say

>And the angel being come in, said unto her: Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.

>Jesus is the KJV Bible.

This is disgusting and highly blasphemous.

Jesus is not two persons… there are not 4 persons of the trinity the Father, Son, the book and the Holy Spirit… It's just the Father, Son and Holy Spirit..

Jesus Christ is the God-man not the God-book.

Revelation 16:5 is correct because that place is a nomen sacrum. He who is, and was, and shall be is a name of God.

As for Luke 1:28, that's just you trying to redefine words. In the Greenfield Lexicon it says this:

Χαριτόω, ῶ, f. ώσω, p. κεχαριτωκα (fr. χάρις) to make accepted or acceptable, Ep. 1.6; to favour, regard with favour & approbation; pass. to be accepted, favoured, &c. Lu. 1.28.

Most of this thread is just being uncharitable so I'm going to follow the word of the Lord which is,

"But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes."
