Hey bros after being an atheist for 19 years i accepted Jesus Christ as by Lord and Savior and asked him to forgive me for my past sins.
Now that i have converted i am wondering what Church to join,my Dad is Catholic my Mom is Anglican and i was raised by my mother but i never got confirmed in any Church as i never believed in God when i was young.
I disagree with some doctrine of the Catholic Church such as the infallibility of the Pope ,the immaculate conception of Mary and her assumption and that faith does not merit salvation, but this does not necessarily turn me off from the Catholic Church.
But Anglicanism is cucked with women and homo clergy and i can not accept that.
So what Church should i join and what advice do you have for a recent convert ?

You need to do some serious research into theology and join the best church in your area that fits the theology of the Bible. If you have any questions about Baptist theology I can offer my advice.

Faith is not alledging. Christ himself said not all who recognize him as Lord know him truly. Faith is fidelity and dedication.

Yeah, research and see where you fall.
If you believe in the infallibility of the Bible and want to follow it as it is, nondenominational is good. But there are other good churches, Baptist, AOG, and more. But I think the biggest thing you can do is this:
Pray and ask God to guide you to the right church. He did that for me and ever since I went to that church He guided me to, I haven't been the same. Life has been amazing. So, I would say pray and ask God to guide you.

One thing i am also worried about is salvation. I have faith in Jesus Christ and i really try to keep the commandments and the moral law but will this merit my salvation or is it harder than that ?

So, the Bible says in Romans 10:9 "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
That's two different things. So, let's break it down:
1. "If you confess with Your mouth that Jesus is Lord…" The implication there is then that you confess Jesus is Lord. That means that you don't deny Him otherwise He'll deny you.
2. "…and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead…" This is another thing. Now, if you believe God raised Jesus from the dead and you confess Jesus as Lord, then you will live a different life. God will have given you a new heart and His Spirit which will reside in you. He will not let anyone who has been saved be plucked from his hand.
There's a long theological argument that many like to have once someone says, "Once saved, always saved," which you are, but the easier way around it is this: act like you're saved. Go to God for everything, read your Bible, don't overwhelm yourself, let God guide you in how much you should read, pray, and worship Him. You'll be good.

There is a lot that can be said about each of those things, in particular the fact that what we do is proven not to be sufficient. That was why the old Law of the Israelites, given to Moses was unable to save anyone, as we learn in Scripture; it was only able to show us how we have sinned. The law also had a lot of foreshadowings about how it was unfinished and there was a fulfillment necessarily coming that would provide a true way to being reconciled and accepted by God. That is through the sacrifice, the shed blood of Jesus Christ which was once paid at the cross. The Bible explains every aspect of this in detail, especially in the New Testament but to get every detail you will want to study the whole thing. Anyway, what should be understood is that we are meant to realize nothing we in our fallen state could ever do is enough to satisfy God after we already broke his law, the only thing that can expiate our just condemnation is what Christ did, not what we do. Part of humbling yourself to accept that is the very thing many people have trouble with. But when it comes to being saved we are entirely dependant on the Lord. As the word says "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." - Ephesians 2:8-9
If you want faith to believe these things, the one thing that can help is knowing more of the word of God. Paul the apostle himself said, "Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." If we believe this to be true, then the way to gain faith has to be through studying, reading, listening to Scriptures contained in the Bible, which is His word. This is what I suggest everyone do and what I do it all the time, for many years now, not a day goes by that I haven't.
Obviously you are right to be concerned about salvation and being right with God. He is the source of everything whole and good in our life, so it's best to take this time we have been given by Him to learn what He wants us to hear by actually spending attention on what his Word says. The Gospel and the words that God sent to us makes all the difference, so make sure not to leave them out of your life. I won't take up more space than necessary to paste whole passages of scripture. The answers you're looking for are there. As the Lord Jesus says, ask and it shall be given you, seek and ye shall find (Luke 11:9).

If you're not saved, this will be the will of the Father. Otherwise, this will also be the will of the Father. What, then, is to worry?
Ask that his will and not yours be done.

The most important thing about a church is the people, not the denomination or the dogma. You want a church filled with the love of Christ. You should also join a church that's willing to tell the truth about the world, not one that just tries to give you an emotional high during service.
Don't join a liberal church. They aren't Christian, they are just subverting Christianity to create a progressive religion for commies.

horrible advice. Every church will claim that their way is the bible way. He wants a church filled with the love of Christ. The dogma is fairly irrelevant, as long as they are truly Christian.

And elsewhere. The book of Enoch, the book of jubilees, etc. are good to read as well. ALL scripture has value, not just the scripture proposed by the council of Nicaea. The word of God isn't limited to the bible, it's written into the fabric of reality.

Yeah they are. Sola Scriptura is an idolatrous and arrogant heresy. Making the bible into an idol is an inversion of God's word. It's transforming gold into lead. If you're going to worship a book then you might as well just start worshiping statues of moloch. It would actually be better to worship moloch because at least then you haven't inverted God's word and transformed what is holy into a stumbling block.

1 Enoch etc are NOT part of the Holy Scriptures, they are NOT divinely inspired. However they are still a worthwhile and interesting read as they give us insight into the early church, as many of the fathers of Christianity were deeply influenced by such books, such as Saint Irenaeus, Saint Peter, Clement of Alexandria.

I have to speak to the notion of tradition, I guess, that you follow. If you are against Sola Scriptura, then you may as well get rid of the whole Bible because if God could not keep the whole of it true, then there's no reason to believe He could keep any of it true. But you know, if God could not keep the whole of the Bible true, then the question comes down to a simple one: is He really "God"? If God cannot protect His word from generation to generation, then there's no reason to believe anything He says or, much less, anything anyone says about Him because he's clearly impotent. Which then leads to the curious fact that YOU claim to follow Him. No wonder you're Catholic! You can believe in a flawed "god" because you put your faith in a church, not God, that is ripe with pedophiles and more degeneracy and you have to reconcile how you can believe what you do with a "god" that cannot protect "his church."
What I'm saying is, you have a lot more problems than you're letting on and speaking to ANYONE about religion, ESPECIALLY from a place of AUTHORITY as YOU CONSTANTLY DO is the ABSOLUTE LAST THING YOU SHOULD EVER DO!
