The sources about child abuse are true, but the ones about wars are idiotic(no, the Ustashe werent doing on orders of the Vatican) but the ones that give quotes are fringe unsubstantiated conspiratorial sensationalist books from HUNDREDS of years ago.

The Church Jesus and his Apostles built would not be made unholy by the actions of its members who have their own evil in the hearts, following their own interests.

Now, there were obviously no large scale massacres commited by the Emperors or the Church that would diminish the population of Bohemia like that.

What really happened during the recatholisation is that anyone would be forbidden to hold a protestant mass, and would be forbidden to scoff at God or at the church its saints and its merits and if they wanted to do any of that they would be free to move to any part of the Empire led by protestants lords.

Compared to states like Sweden or England, where anyone holding a Catholic Mass would be directly executed it is obvious that the Empire as always treated its subjects fairly well. The Empire also did well in protecting the Catholics here in the north from the tyranny of the Protestant lords and mayors, who would have commited to the same terrors as the Swedes and the English would they have not been subject to German law.

Quoting fragments from obscure, out-of-print early modern era books that you cant find except for those exact same quotes, or even better, books that quote even older early medieval tomes, that are without:

a)page number and/or context;

b)place where you can find the text;

c)the translation in question is broken;

d)the tome doesnt exist;

Theres enough people here saying the sources are faulty.

I will do a better check in the future. But the thread’s point still remains.

Perhaps the early churche which I seek is the true Church. And perhaps the early iterations of RC pre nicean creed is the true church.

As of today the practices adopted by the RC are so far gone from what was taught by Christ and God.

You cant dent the RC has done some evil things in the name of the Lord.

Faulty premise. There is no true institutional church which Christ founded and all others are false.

There are local churches, and there is the invisible church of all the redeemed past and present. Membership is contingent on your faith.

Im coming more and more to this conclusion. That the official church is simple to be Christ-like, and to believe and walk in Kingdom of God.

If the Jesuits destroyed the protestants it was with arguments not through killing, they are a scholarly inclined holy order.

Nowadays however they arent that great.
