The things im planning to talk about:

Life: pretty chill working 14 weeks a year

Inventions: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medieval_technology

The Good Impact of the Church: I will talk about the genetic benefits of banning incest [need more good impacts]

The Crusades

The Spanish Inquisition

If you think i left out something important fell free to tell OP

In "Our Culture, Our Choice", by an Anthropologist, he makes the argument that incest can be beneficial. Obviously, if you look at how cross breading is used to domesticate animals, it has some truth to it.

What the author doesn't address very well are the deformed offspring in this process who get the bucket. You really can't do that with children.

Will you be in spain,or do you speak sanish. I am brainlet on the faith (learning is hard) but I heard there is a university where you can see many of the court records from the Spanish Inquisition, which paint a FAR different picture of went on during the inquisition

There was an old documentary about that from the BBC, of all things (surprising considering that the BBC is both British and liberal, who tend to perpetuate Inquisition myths). I highly recommend that everyone watch it, if only to have a balanced view of the Church during these times. It would help both Protestants and Catholics find just a little peace between each other, if only from this one issue. I found it on youtube:

That all said, I wouldn't say the Inquisition is from the Middle Ages. More like the Renaissance specifically.

How ridiculous. Why does it automatically change my link to Invido.us? It doesn't produce the video correctly. One should just go to Youtube and search for BBC/Documentary/Inquisition/Timewatch. It will be the one listed at 46:21 minutes long.

It's a board filter. Invidio.us isn't google so it doesn't track you and doesn't show ads. It also means spammers don't benefit from shilling their videos here, which occasionally happens.

It looks like this video is region locked against the invidio.us server location.

yewtu.be/watch?v=CY-pS6iLFuc works

If this is a recurring problem I can take it off

Thanks for the explanation. Sorry if that came across as too strong of a gripe. I understand the benefits.
