What's the deal with Paul VI hall where the Pope gives his speeches? It looks like a snake. Why does the Pope speak from the mouth of a giant serpent?

It's a just a panoramic image. Huge schizo stretch to imply the architects intended to send some kind of message if someone took a pano at that spot.

It's not a panoramic. From the opposite angle the snake is biting down on the people that congregate here. An offering if you will. When the Pope speaks he watches his people getting devoured by a serpent.

It's weird, it's ugly, it's just an audience hall.

Compare the OP image to the shape of the building from the top.

That's weird and ugly too and it does speak on the modernist ideas of sacred architecture in the Roman Church, but it's not a crypto satanist dogwhistle or something.

This, really.

Art wise, I'm blind. It does seem to be so bold as to be intentional.

I guess the artist thought it would be nice to have a statue of Christ rising from a nuclear bomb crater.

All protestant religions were founded by mortal men with a strong desire to sin.

Consider that because King Henry VIII wanted to divorce his wives and loot the Church, the Anglican religion was founded.

Martin Luther also had issues where he wanted to permit sin and felt that having "faith" meant he could sin boldly.

The Protestants hate Catholics not because we call a Priest Father or ask the Blessed Mother of God to pray for us, but because we require the sacrament of penance to remove mortal sin. Most protestants refuse to do penance.

Here is the explanation of the protestant fallacy:

Correct Logic

If A, then B.

Given B, A does not follow.

Fallacy

If A, then B.

Given A, B does not follow.

This is a fallacy because it denies the premise "If A, then B"

Now lets apply it the correct logic:

If Faith, then Good works.

Given Good Works does not imply faith. That is, Good Works is a necessary condition for faith, but not necessary. e.g. good works could be from the need to show pride, social standing, etc.

In applying the fallacy, we see the assertion "No good works does not mean no faith". This is false.

26c07b  No.834137

>>834128

I think there's a language barrier here but what you're saying really does not make sense.

We both agree:

>Unrelated good works can exist independent of Christian faith

>Faith precedes Christian works

>Works are necessarily present alongside saving faith

Here's where we disagree

>Protestant: saved by faith alone, works are an indication of saving faith

>Catholic: saved by faith, stay saved by the contribution of your works

>the assertion "No good works does not mean no faith". This is false

I agree, but that's a quad negative

Rephrased:

Faith without works is dead.

Where did you see this assertion made? Not by any reputable Protestant.

You have a really bad habit of presuming an argument of your opponent and getting hostile and condescending about it, and I notice.

Can you further explain the difference between

>>Protestant: saved by faith alone, works are an indication of saving faith

>>Catholic: saved by faith, stay saved by the contribution of your works

I don't get what you meant by using "saying saved" and "saving" to point out the differences.

Protestants believe in a single born again experience justifies the sinner before God, and most believe in eternal security which means he will necessarily persevere. A minority of Protestants like arminians/wesleyans believe that you can be born again by faith alone, then fall away and lose that salvation.

The Roman Catholic view is not centered on a saving event, but more like a running budget where you're trying to keep yourself in the black and out of the red. Your works as a Christian are part of this equation, contributing to keeping yourself in right standing before God.

>>834137

>>834143

I am equally confused. Let's say there is a pump that's pumping out water and it has a red light that glows while the pump is running. Therefore:

> If the pump is pumping water, the red light is glowing

< Therefore if the red light is not glowing, the pump is not working

< Therefore, if the red light stops glowing, it means the pump has stopped working

And now someone comes along saying "hurr, durr, you believe the red light is removing the waster, but akshually it's the pump".

>>834145

Is this related to "once save, always saved"? How would a protestant then justify if someone lived a seemingly godly life for years, then went completely off the rocker? Would they then say he never had any faith in the first place?

Faith is a very broad stroke of paint, can you give concrete examples of "single born again experiences"?. Though I would agree the debtor analogy is retarded, since if the Lord marked every debt; who could stand? The Lord's prayer is also tangentially about this, I believe.

Yes that analogy is roughly a picture of the protestant view of faith and works. Simplified, works are an indicator of faith but not contributing to salvation.

Ephesians 2:8-9 NASB — For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

The Roman Catholic would say that this analogy doesn't fit what's going on in salvation.

>Would they then say he never had any faith in the first place?

Yes. In fact we never say with certainty that someone else is saved, even when they are manifesting good works. That's entirely between them and God.

The Vatican has been sacrificing children for hundreds of years in their catacombs. They Hide the truth in plain sight and laugh at the people following them even with all the evidence under their noses. All the priests there and everyone of them with high titles worships satan, the original snake charmer. Luxurious architectures like these have too much work that go into them for all of this just to be a some honest mistake. Ask any contractor how hard it is to do this by accident.

They get caught left and right for crimes against children. Many of their priests have been caught red-handed with children. Many of their nuns abuse children. The popes right hand man has been caught in an underground homosexual sex trafficking ring just a year or two ago Involving minors. Yes, The current pope’s right hand man. Honestly I don’t know what it will take for these Catholics to wake up. Even when this calamity hits them and they’ve seen it with their own eyes they don’t leave this cult. They get bribed to keep their mouths shut, and even after accepting those bribes they’re still catholic. They must believe that if a priest rapes their loved ones it’s automatic entrance to heaven for the victims and their families. Why would they stay otherwise? Can any Catholic please for the love of God tell us! We’re dying to know!

And yet you posted in another thread that you smoke weed and draw porn. I am not one for conspiracies like…this. The Church has seen a lot of crap and has prevailed through it. First off. Any organization hiding serious sin has been abandoned by Christ. Not the people in it though, he tries to reach them. The statistics don’t mean a thing. Are you gonna hate a man who rapes 10 women and love the one that rapes 5?

Also you take what I said in another forum and bring it out of context to this one. You are not interested in helping me. Your just attacking. Yes I smoke weed and draw porn. I allow anyone to go to those forums and read the full contexts. They can still disagree with me but at least they can get a better idea of what I’m trying to say. None of us are perfect. We all have thorns in our sides. Brother your reaching to hurt, your in pain. If your trying to help your failing. I write whatever Christ tells me to. I try to keep my emotions out of it.

The forums I contributed to are ‘suicide’ ‘no fap’( but it’s not titled has a pic of Mary I think) ‘Jesus dream’ and some others I can’t recall right now. You are not hurting me, just yourself.

I’ve made it really easy for you to know me by keeping the name section filled. I’ve done everything an honest person would do. I’ve come to far in 10 years to taste the cult atmosphere again.
