why are catholics so condescending about being
>da originel cherch
They act like there isn't another church in the east which claims exactly the same thing, they think they have some kind of Monopoly over Christianity it's funny because they always screech about Protestant removing books from the Bible when according to the Orthodox they also removed books from the Bible. Catholics are literally Protestants to the Orthodox, now I'm not even Orthodox and nor would i ever want to be since they are idolaters too but it just goes to show that Catholics more or less just love the smell of their own farts and can't see past themselves

Not really condescending, just saying the truth; Catholic church is descended from Peter as the Bible says.
Some of the Orthodox are in communion with the Catholic Church.
Others who disagreed with this or that teaching of the Lord's Church split off, but the old Catholic Church never changed. .

Nobody disputes Peter. Everyone loves Peter. Rome is not Peter. It wasn't even Petrine as far back as the 100s, and a disciple of the Apostles themselves (Polycarp) found himself in dispute with Rome. The entirety of Asia Minor didn't bend the knee to the bishop of Rome's whims even in the second century. Rome's pretensions to dominance is nothing new and has more to do with their grotesque Caesarian political pretensions than anything to do with Peter.

"You will know a tree by it's fruits."
That's the easiest and most obvious way to tell that Rome is not Peter. It bears the fruits of Judas instead. The fruits of power and violence and theft and trying to shape the Kingdom of God by force. Peter, who Jesus prayed that Satan would not catch, was merely inclined to hotheadedness. He shared that with Judas, but was rebuked when he unleashed the sword, and eventually repented and died on a cross as our Lord did. Rome would have none of this. Rome would not imitate Peter. It loves being enthroned, having little boys serve it's every whim, and servants holding them up in a throne. It loves resorting to violent methods and pain to "preach" the so called gospel (which is not good news at all). These are all marks of Judas.
Sadly, there's nothing to be done about it until Jesus separates the weeds from the proper crop. Everyone would love to be rid of Rome, Protestant and Orthodox alike, but it would damage the rest of the earth. Only the Lord can cure us all.

Others being disobedient to the Lord's choice to build his church upon is not reason to also be disobedient to the Lord as well.

You point to sins committed by church leaders but ignore that the One True Church lead to the greatest civilization on earth, and fell as a result of the philosophy that man can dispute the teachings of the Holy Ghost. Now we see protestant churches embracing sodomy.
Yes by the fruits you shall know them.
The Lord Christ said Obey. Don't pretend to be a follower of Christ and then disobey him and do as you will. There are hundreds of protestant denominations now, there can only be one that is True. That is the error or Protestantism.

>men are fallible, that's why we need to centralize church authority into a powerful and complex system of historically corrupted clergy ultimately directed by a single man who literally speaks on behalf of God
Yeah I'll stick with congregationalism thanks

>The RCC was founded by God himself
Unfortunately, this point is in dispute. If you try to use that as a support to your arguments, others will point out that your assumption here is inaccurate.
The RCC was actually began as a splinter sect by Leo IX, and Catholicism itself was founded by Constantine. So we should start with that as our basis from now on.

Nice try at divide and conquer, Prot. Roman Catholics and Orthodox Christians have a pretty healthy relationship with one another, despite some minor theological differences. Protestantism, on the other hand, is a product of liberalism and most of its followers are so far gone that they resemble pagans more than they do Christians.

It's a cult and they brainwash their followers.
They don't read the Bible. They don't follow the Bible. They follow the traditions of men instead of the teachings of Christ. They're not Christian in any sense of the word since Christian means Christ-like or follower of Christ.
Over 85% of their practices are completely unbiblical and they're in denial about it. Infant baptism, celibate bishops, purgatory, lent, ash wednesday, sunday worship, pope being god, pope being more powerful than god, mary worship, mary being a co-savior, baptism of pagan gods sanctifying them, commandments of men instead of commandments of God, transubstantiation, etc.
They think their religion makes them right in God's eyes and it doesn't. They refuse the Word of God and the teachings of Christ and it's evident with how much blood their church has spilled despite Jesus saying "love your enemies". They don't know anything about history of their own church or they just embrace it as ebin may mays of murder and torture of anyone who doesn't bow to Papal Rome. They believe everything their preachers say at face value. They never study their Bible on their own to verify their preachers' teachings. And most of them wouldn't even understand the Bible because they not only use a Bible twisted and sanitized by Rome, but they've been so indoctrinated and brainwashed into their beliefs of what each verse should mean that they can't understand God's Word. They're too prideful and God resists the proud.

>you don't agree with me, you're [insert denomination I don't like]
If you don't like Christianity being discussed or false religions being called out, why are you even here?
Also, Ellen White is a false prophet and her cult followers refuse to see it. They quote her more than they quote the bible half the time to "expose" others. But only a babe or a nonChristian in Christ couldn't see how the Catholic church is the whore/beast in revelations when it aligns with all the prophecies. Only a retard would get offended to disregard the truth of that apostate pagan and satanic church.
>necroposting
The post before mine was two days old and the OP was only few days more than that. Again, why are you on a imageboard meant for discussing Christianity? You want a safe space for your false religions, go to plebbit, I'm sure they'll ban the truth as "hate speech" to appease babies like you.

Oh, and the 10 commandments aren't "judaizing" and they were quoted by Jesus Christ. Why don't you read the sermon on the mount for an example (psst it starts in Matthew 5). Odd how there are so many professed "Christians" today who hate the teachings of Christ and won't even allow his own words to be preached in their churches.
