If you're insistent on non-biblical responses, I'm sure you'll find some, I just don't know why you'd want them.

Catholics pray to saints because of what the Bible says in Job.
While the Blessed Virgin is the Queen of Heaven, other Saints may intercede on your behalf as well. There are a number of saints I am quite fond of.

Since when did Catholics think the path of Jesus was blocked to them? You guys aren't even Catholic. It's not a Protestant thing to say that Christ is your Savior. You will not find another Savior in any Catholic, Orthodox, or Protestant teaching.

Job 42:8-9 KJV — Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that ye have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job. So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: the LORD also accepted Job.
That doesn't help your point. People who hadn't yet passed on offered intercessory prayer, like everyone already affirms

I've already tried to explain this to them, using this verse is equal to them admitting that they have not spoken the truth about God.
They're willing to dishonestly deal with scripture regardless of this reality, if they think it might make their saint worship seem Biblical to someone. In other words, appearances over substance.

You both are too quickly to write off what was written and interpretted. Have you ever considered what was meant when Jesus said, "Get the behind me, satan?" Was that not about protties in general because the word "the" is clearly used?
Yeah, it's kind of hard to be lectured by people from on high, hearing them say, "The Bible says this…" and then the verse has absolutely nothing to do with the matter at hand. On some level, it feels like there's brainwashing that has taken place because there's literally no way to extrapolate the explanation they're given on a multitude of verses without being specifically told "This is what it means." It's like they are taking a simple addition problem, rewriting it, then making it a proof, but coming out with a wrong conclusion entirely.

Even petitioning Solomon's mother wasn't the only way to get through to him; just one reliable way.

As long as they don't try to pretend whatever they believe is Biblical, I can bear it. The second they act like they know God's word, it calls for rebuking and exhortation.

In every (1 out of 1) case recorded in the Bible where someone tries to petition Solomon through his mother, the petitioner doesn't get what he wants and gets executed by Solomon instead. Going directly to Solomon and avoiding suspicion-eliciting intrigue would probably have been safer, or at least not any worse.

I am giving the Baptist the opportunity to speak. But ok, let's poke one hole in it.
1 Peter 3:21 contradicts the notion that water baptism is merely something done after one is saved. This is because when Peter says Baptism is an "appeal/pledge" of a Good Conscience, the "appeal/pledge" in that context actually refers to the kind of promise one makes in oaths and trade contracts.
This ironically means that when Peter says Baptism does not save as if it is washing of filth from flesh but instead an appeal of a good conscience, Peter is saying that water baptism is akin to a contract where one promises faith in God, thus making him in relationship with him just as a Trade agreement now rectifies a trade relationship. That is far from something one does when one is saved and then testify it.
