So for some reason I follow this priest, some people I know were following him, and only looked very briefly on what he talked, and thought to myself, well good enough.
He seems to be one of the more radical traditional and influential priests around, when I saw this publication, and it really got worried.

Actually starting this thread encourage to take a deeper look at his page and see what it was all about. All the other book seem to be genuine, and in fact very common among fellow christians here, I think he may actually be against the cultural marxism in the church.

Worried? Why? Padre Ricardo is anti-communist. The Catholic Church has consistently denounced communism. I'm more worried about his link to Bolsonaro and Olavo de Carvalho, who are both """traditionalist""" Catholics who are deeply embroiled with protestant polemics. But I wouldn't worry about his teachings and I wouldn't expect any hot takes on communism.

First my local priest denounced him like he was the devil (this in a private meeting), I really wasn't sure because I never really looked into it, but when I saw the picture it just got me worried if he was trying to push for that ideology, now see is quite the opposite.
Btw, a meeting with a long lost brother, do you have any idea if our long lost home will ever be back?

Of course he's against cultural marxism and the modernist disease. Padre Ricardo is a good man. Whatever qualms I may have with him come from the fact that Brazilian Catholicism is extremely polemical. I recommend you Conde Loppeux on YouTube for a lay point on view on the issue, he comments on what the calls the "neoconservative heresy" afflicting Brazilian Catholics, notably people like Paulo Kogos, Olavo de Carvalho, et cetera.

I'm not Brazilian. I'm merely a spectator from the other side of the pond, brother, I have great interest on what is happening in Brazil. Padre Ricardo is a good man and his teachings are orthodox. Though I do not know this for a fact, I suspect that he's one of the hardcore traditionalists that constantly rails on Pope Francis for whatever reason, seeing how he's friend with people like Professor Carvalho who has some very unfortunate hot takes on the Church. I do not wish to slander the good priest with unfounded suspicions though, and I do recommend him as a teacher.

It's something that he talks about on several of his videos. Namely here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6w2Gx4eVedQ
This is his channel. Like all good Brazilians, he get very heated sometimes, but I think he has a good heart and he understands the bullcrap that some of the traditionalists try to peddle and how this uniquely relates to Brazilian politics/religious life.

I'm afraid I can not provide you with an acceptable enough summary of his thought as I'm insufficiently acquainted with Brazilian politics and religious polemics to have a concrete understanding of things. But what he does identify in the Brazilian Christian scene are both extremely aggressive evangelical invaders bombarding the faithful with anti-Catholic polemics, and a sect of the Catholic faithful hardening in quasi-sedevacantist traditionalism that ironically picks up a lot of the protestant polemics and translates itself to anti-Second Vatican Council and anti-Pope Francis vitriol. Understand that I'm merely a spectator from afar, brother, so I'm certainly failing to paint the correct picture here. I would urge you to hear what Loppeux has to say for yourself, I kind of appreciate some of his stances even if he's a bit too angry for my taste some times.
