Where are missionaries most needed? Where is the place that is too difficult, too dangerous and unsafe for most christians? Where is the place in the world where the word of god hasn't reached? Obviously I can't get inside North Korea, but besides North Korea, where can good be done?

I ask because I'm starting to wonder in what way I can glorify god most and serve his purpose on this earth. I'm autistic and an emotional blank, I can't love or feel outside of the guidance of concepts, normal life for me is unavailable due to my condition. My autism is so severe that the possibility of having a family and being fruitful and multiplying is not one I can realistically expect. And outside of being fruitful and multiplying, bringing salvation to others should be the priority.

I was thinking rural China, India or an Islamic country. But maybe there's somewhere I've overlooked. What do you guys think?

>Where are missionaries most needed? Where is the place that is too difficult, too dangerous and unsafe for most christians?

Unironically North America and Europe because of all the democracy loving, patriotic yet rebellious, equality loving, and in word but not deed so called disciples of Christ that falsely so call themselves disciples of Christ scattered throughout there.

>Where is the place in the world where the word of God hasn't reached?

God is a proper noun and the most important category of them at that, the names of God/Jesus/Wisdom/the Word and so on. Don't forget that capitilization. The word of God, i.e the literal spoken words of God/holy scripture/the Bible/the Gospel has reached throughout the entire world already according to Romans 10:13-18.

I agree. Europe and North America are in dire need of a revival. One of the greatest tragedies of human history is the White Race's abandonment of Christianity (its heritage).

Cool hot take but no.

Europe and NA are not dangerous places to share the gospel and first world nations are not difficult places to serve as missionary. There is also much more access to the gospel among the peoples, if we think of "gospel need" in terms of unreached people groups.

There are places in the Islamic world where muslim apostates are murdered. There are remote tribes which can't be reached on paved roads and have no scripture in their language.

>the Gospel has reached throughout the entire world already according to Romans 10:13-18.

Patently false, and that's a contradiction with verses 13-17 and the great commission.

"Their sound went out…" Is either referring to the Jews alone, Paul using hyperbole, or referring to natural signs of God.

<But the conclusion that, according to our present passage, the gospel had at that time actually penetrated everywhere (even to China, America, etc.), is simply an arrant mistake, contrary to the nature of the popularly poetical expression

Okay. I agree with you that there are plenty of places where it is far more dangerous to share the Gospel than North America or Europe, but shouldn't we concentrate on retaking our homelands for Christ and then worrying about converting the rest of the world?

We need a base of operations, a stronghold if you will, before we can launch serious missionary efforts abroad.

Okay. IMO we have few resources (in terms of money and manpower). Wouldn't it make more sense to focus it on making America a Christian nation instead of spreading our resources thin over many nations?

What would you consider a sufficient support structure to begin sending overseas missionaries? We were already there 200 years ago if you ask me.

I've shared the missions agencies URLs of just my denomination, and we put a huge amount of resources into missions. We've been doing it for a very long time, look up adoniram Judson or Lottie moon.

In the SBC our offerings go to what's called the cooperative program. Over 50% of cooperative program funds go towards international missions, about a quarter to home missions, and the rest is dispersed to seminaries, special committees, custodial costs and so on.
