Why is this such a common occurence these days? Do they actually go to mass?

>Why is this such a common occurrence these days?

Young males grasping out for anything that connects them with the old world, because they have an ambiguous sense that something is wrong with today's world.

Roman Catholicism is a convenient fit because it has always argued that it is singularly the church of christ and you can kind of outsource your own thinking to it, "implicit faith".

>Do they actually go to mass?

Probably. The ones who skip catholic mass seem to be the average.

https://www.pewforum.org/religious-landscape-study/religious-tradition/catholic/

>39% of catholics attend at least once a week

>40% twice a month - "a few times" a year

>20% seldom/never

I would connect it to the Jordan Peterson "clean your room" crowd and the e-pagans

If we're being honest a major subset of this board over the years has been LARPers trying to meme catholicism into something it is not.

You seem to be critical of "Zoomer Tradcath" for not listening to you. We're told that is a sin to listen to you, they are avoiding sin.

Heaven knows why they're rude to you, there's no hypocrisy at all in your meme as it is not insulting to them in the least, is it.

What exactly? Just looks like a kid awkwardly trying to ask advice on how to convert while trying to act tough to keep composure? Nothing in the title of that image really suggests larpipng. Was it in the comments that they reveal to be a troll or something?

Zoomers with a desperate need to find fulfillment turn towards whatever religion they believe most follows their meme political views. However, in my experience they rarely truly convert or even put in the effort to learn anything about Christianity beyond perhaps a few of the fables. Though, they do not try to derive meaning from these fables as far as I can tell.

>>828575

You are too optimistic, or perhaps we're too jaded, the redditor seems to be not particularly serious about converting. Especially given the line "… it's the based and traditionalist reactionary thing to do…" which implies if nothing else he is politically motivated rather than spiritually.

I am one of them. I was disillusioned with ideology and turned to God for answers. I am much more at peace….BUT I feel detached from people in my life. My family rarely go to church, and i had no idea how much He loved me until I was in the pits of sin and I was disintegrating on the inside. I feel alone

Because that's what happens when you promote your faith because it's "based and redpilled", and not…you know, it being true(and promoting social stability being a consequence of it's veridicity).

I've been a Catholic my whole life since birth but if I weren't you'd never convince me to convert with mere assertion like "it's da trooth i say so". Fedoras use the exact same logical fallacy but their rhetoric is far more refined and persuasive because logical fallacies are what kikes are good at.

Nigga, you have entire patristic volumes explaining why the Catholic Church would be the real deal, religion wise.

Also:

>fedoras

>super refined and persuasive philosophers.

Lmao.

Funny, that’s usually how papists “argue” against Protestantism

And it's an absolute crap argument that's not winning any converts. Jesus was right. The best way to persuade is by fruits. Jesuits started out with a crap reputation but ended up liked (for a while) after they did charity and other stuff. We should be pointing out the good Catholicism does for people instead of shilling "I SEZ SO!!!"

Still trying to figure out how much primacy Rome had in the first millennium.

So, why are the protestants smearing the catholics now? Because the new converts don't go to mass often enough?

Do the protestants have data on that or is it just something they're making up to hate Catholics?

It gets so old. No false witnessing against your neighbors, friends.

if he already is attracted to the christian faith, then it is good. because that means atheistic ideology has lost control over him.
