I don't know about India (I don't ever hear anything comming from there),

but from what I have been hearing out on Africa, tradition is highly revered. How ironic it would be for the colonizers to be saved by their former colonies.

I hope for that as well. If we can be honest here, it's not the Indian or African priests promoting faggotry in our Church, but Western Boomers. I welcome those immigrant priests and will continue to encourage them as I meet them. The great thing about these traditional priests is that the Susans and other liberals infesting the Church cannot oppose their immigration here or their pro-family, anti-degeneracy homilies without being seen as intolerant thanks to the idiotic political climate said liberals have created.

Unlike you, the based tigger in that pic can handle banter.

Also, no chance African and Indian priests have the capacity to restore organizational direction and strength to the world's oldest insitution, if only just looking at the extreme profligacy of Africa and India (AT LEAST on par with the West, and that's being charitable). And that's ignoring that to run an organization effectively you actually need organizational skill and human capital, which isn't in great supply in Africa or India, both of which are some of the most terribly organized regions on earth.

Waiting on some darky deus ex machina to restore order is the essence of effeminacy for 2 reasons:

1) You've obviously internalized the central premise of modernist progressivism: whitey bad and deserves to die out. This premise also discredits Christianity since the European nations were also the vehicle of Christendom reaching peoples around the world. And besides that, if you have this attitude, you're a demoralized husk who only has a parody of love in his heart. One of the central benefits promised to Abraham was that his seed would outnumber the stars (yeah he obviously interpretted that more literally than modern Christians do, but that was allowed because the literal interpretation is also an expression of love and charity), so imagine if he had this kind of ambivalent weakling mindset and cared nothing for his own kin.

2) It's just an excuse to continue doing nothing, since obviously the BASED swarthy foreigners are gonna do all the hard work for us.

>>825913

Oh spare me. Its pure hubris if you think no one save Europeans could run the Church. Look at the state of the Church in the west and you tell me how it could be worse. We have empty pews, watered down liturgy, and weak priests. I'll take a little mismanagement and anarchy as long as the priests have actual PASSION.

And winnie the pooh right off with "you've internalized whitey bad and must die out", I specifically called out the boomer modernist generation. There are a growing number of young, traditional priests, but they are vastly outnumbered by their older peers who have inspired no vocations to replace them.

The future of the Church will always be in the hands of the people that actually inspire vocations.

Not him but you're delusional if you think the return to tradition will come from Africa or India. I know about BASED Cardinal Sarah, but he certainly doesn't represent the influence Africa will have on the Church. I live in frog land and what tiggers brought to us is singing while claping your hands during the mass, almost dancing while you're at it. Also if a return to tradition must happen, it should be on the level of intellectualism of westerners. Even though black priests can preach and bring Christ wisdom to white people, they won't always be listened because of the difference in intelligence. I've heard enough sermons from black priests to know this is true. There is no pride to take in being intelligent, but it must be acknowledged. White priests will have an easier time talking to white fidels than black priests do.

Ah, the classic "I was one of you"… When ever someone uses this argument in literally any context, in my experience, it inevitably means they never intellectually understood the position in the first place. Sentimental opinions from Catholic blogs to counter a semantic argument. An interesting choice, but the only people who will even begin to care what those blogs say are other Catholics, because my argument wasn't a theological one. The fact remains, organized religions fall under a subcategory of ideology. So yes, I'm quite ideological, but so are you.

https://www.britannica.com/topic/ideology-society

>Ideology, a form of social or political philosophy in which practical elements are as prominent as theoretical ones. It is a system of ideas that aspires both to explain the world and to change it.

See? Overlap with organized religion. That's why we have to have the term political ideology to differentiate it from a religious ideology. Ideology is not a dirty word. It's a system of ideas and a way of understanding the world.

Now if you wanted to argue that my ideas weren't drawn from or compatible with God's revealed truths and thus invalidate my ideology, that would be something worth discussing. However you're going to have to demonstrate directly from the scriptures that this is the case, because I wouldn't trust the Vatican's opinion on bean dip, much less biblical interpretation.

What are you so afraid of? Rome is the true and only church of God, right? If God has truly vested Rome with that authority, then there should be nothing to worry about. After all, Rome is in 100% agreement with the holy scriptures, right? The gates of hell shall not prevail against God's church. So a learned priest, endowed with authority by the Holy Spirit, should be able to use the scriptures to defeat any silly argument that I might bring up. Or could it be that you have some kind of subconscious fear about what might happen if you expose one of your remaining priests to uncensored ideas? That would be doubt, and doubt is a sin, so go to confession and let your priest know that I'm waiting for him.

If I put on a funny hat and got a trident and claimed myself Poseidon, King of Atlantis, would you consult me regarding what the rules of the ocean were? Because that's basically what you're doing from the perspective of anyone outside the Roman Church. Substantiate Rome's authority in a manner that is meaningful to someone outside of Rome.

You've mistaken my position for someone else's. (Which is funny, because nobody bothered asking me what it was in the first place.) I condemn no one to hell merely for their race, hybrid or otherwise. God has His people among all the races of the earth. What will condemn someone to hell is having a false gospel, which is why I keep stabbing at Rome's authority… Its gospel takes a very different form than what you'll arrive at on the basis of what scripture alone teaches. So if Rome's claim of authority can't be substantiated, then her gospel is equally baseless. I'm trying to warn you of a very real danger, even if I am provocative.

A variety of authors at different times and in different places.

>Who first put all the books together into one collection?

I don't know that and neither do you. Codex Vaticanus is merely the oldest preserved complete bible that we have. We don't even know its origins with certainty. All we know is that the Vatican has cool stuff in its basement. Having a great storage facility is not the same thing as being able to use the equipment you're storing. You're still arguing from an authority that you haven't demonstrated.

>>827807

>Sola scriptura does not make sense,, it has no basis in reality

Neither does Rome's claim to be in agreement with scripture when that's plainly not the case. You can only shoehorn so many traditions into that one verse before it starts to look like pic related.

>I find catholicism closer to the truth than Protestantism.

Cool.

>I will take you more seriously when you stop schisming

I've never heard schism used as a verb before. Did you know that mercy and compassion in Romans 9:15-16 are both verbs in the Greek?

>Tell me, there are 33,000 version of Protestantism at the moment

Sorry, I didn't realize you were a parrot. See >>827550 from another thread. I'll just copy-paste instead of retyping.

>From where I'm standing, Catholicism seems just as divided as Protestantism. We just subdivide differently. I mean, have you seen the Catholic-Voodoo hybrid stuff going on in African countries? And many American Catholic churches look far more similar to Protestantism than actual Catholicism. Don't even get me started on the complete obsession with Mary, even above Jesus, in South America. Or what about "canonically irregular" church societies? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_communities_using_the_Tridentine_Mass In Protestantism, we call all those sorts of differences denominations.

Also, do you not realize that the debunked 33,000 argument makes you look like a buffoon in the eyes of anyone that isn't Catholic?

https://www.ncregister.com/blog/scottericalt/we-need-to-stop-saying-that-there-are-33000-protestant-denominations

Listen to your own side.

>My dads Lutheran Church split over disagreements.

Sorry to hear that. I hope it wasn't over something silly. That happens sometimes.

>So explain to me, how YOU got it right and why others got it wrong.

You misunderstand the nature of the separations between Protestants. Lutherans, Presbyterians, Episcopalians, Anglicans, and Baptists aren't claiming that the others all have false gospels. That's not the basis of the separation. It's other issues like church structure, baptism, liturgy, and soteriology. The gospel itself isn't different, assuming a congregation has remained true to orthodoxy. The separation is basically a freedom of conscience thing.

>Because to me, Protestantism is false gospel.

Can you accurately define what the Protestant gospel is?

>Also what is with anime and you funposters?

Do the smug anime girls cause you discomfort?

>Must be a way to win without valid arguments

You haven't even tried to show me how my arguments are invalid though. You just insist that it's a foregone conclusion and then ask more questions without answering any of mine.

America was a supremely blessed nation, in love with deuteronomy 28. The unfortunate thing is that we have turned our backs on God. I think revival is happening here, though, but will be exported also because God's calling his people out.

Also, having been to both India and Africa on mission trips, I can say God is doing amazing things in both places. I've seen miracles in both places and if you're concerned that one church will lead the charge of change, then step aside because God's using those who will rely solely on him. There's a reason so many churches have sprung up recently which don't use traditional naming systems denoting themselves as Baptist, Lutheran, etc. God's breaking down the divisions people built up and using those who simply follow the Bible.

>There's a reason so many churches have sprung up recently which don't use traditional naming systems

You realize this is because of apathy toward doctrine in those congregations, right? This isn't anything worth celebrating.

We are told in the word of God to hold fast to and speak things which become sound doctrine, to show uncorruptness in doctrine. If it is part of God's Holy Word, then it is there for a reason and nobody is right to disregard it. And to show a lack of concern for doctrinal matters shows a disregard for these matters as errors creep in unawares. This is a neverending problem, it didn't just start yesterday but it's getting pretty bad and overtly unscriptural these days in its almost boastful disregard for doctrine. The naming conventions simply reflect that emphasis on doctrine or the lack thereof.

>God's breaking down the divisions people built up

Yes, sure, but not the divisions that God himself set up and established. He came to bring division (Luke 12:51), to bring light in a dark place so that the state of all men would be brought to light. See the following passage.

>Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin.

We should therefore withstand all forms of antinomianism. Don't hide from "scandal," but live a life openly against unrighteousness. Actually keep his word and not only profess it. Our strength to do this comes from the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus our Lord.

Withdraw from the wicked, don't commune with them.

1 Corinthians 1:10-17

10 I appeal to you, brothers and sisters,[a] in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought. 11 My brothers and sisters, some from Chloe’s household have informed me that there are quarrels among you. 12 What I mean is this: One of you says, “I follow Paul”; another, “I follow Apollos”; another, “I follow Cephas[b]”; still another, “I follow Christ.”

13 Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized in the name of Paul? 14 I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius, 15 so no one can say that you were baptized in my name. 16 (Yes, I also baptized the household of Stephanas; beyond that, I don’t remember if I baptized anyone else.) 17 For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with wisdom and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.

>>829794

That passage is speaking to the fact that if you follow Jesus, people in your family will turn against you. You are misinterpreting it.

And yes, this all is worth celebrating and you know why? Because we're getting back to what God originally intended in the church. Grab a Bible, read what it says, have a relationship with God and spread his word. There's a reason why some people care about the traditions of man and these new churches don't. They simply want to see God's love flourish. And I'll tell you what, it's happening.

Despising what God said is not worth celebrating!

>You are misinterpreting it.

You ignored the passage that I mentioned regarding speaking only sound doctrine which is from the epistle to Titus. You ignored the passage that I mentioned regarding being separate from the world in John 15. Dismissing the overwhelming evidence that emphasizes sound doctrine is nothing good nor is it anything we haven't seen before. You don't even deny that you place no emphasis whatsoever on sound doctrine. Well various cults, charismatics, gnostics and so forth have all done the same. According to 1 Corinthians 2:13-14, knowing the actual truth of God's word is what sets us apart– "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."

From the words of Paul to Timothy:

If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

>Grab a Bible, read what it says, have a relationship with God and spread his word.

I would have no problem with you saying this but you just quoted from a corrupted modern version. So now you're apparently approving of people who change what God says, redefining words. You probably think it doesn't matter, since when I mentioned that you all disregarded sound doctrine you didn't deny it. Like most people who do not know the word of God, they do not even care to look into such things as they are mere side details to them and not regarded as the perfect, eternal inspired word of God.

1 Peter 1:23-25

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:

But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

>>Because we're getting back to what God originally intended in the church.

Everyone in the world was wrong before you came along? You should probably read the passage in Matthew 16:18 where Jesus said that the gates of hell "shall not prevail" against his church. And also the passage in Matthew 24:35 where Jesus said that his words "shall not pass away."

>There's a reason why some people care about the traditions of man and these new churches don't.

Ok wait a second there. People with incorrect doctrine have taken much of it from the state church. The state church was meant to be an all-encompassing federation just as you are describing and it basically ended up tossing Scripture into the trash and glorifying traditions of man. Fortunately, the church still safeguarded the word in its purity which we now have today. I don't take kindly to seeing it thrown in the trash now to promote some kind of faux-unity built around the will of the masses and their manmade traditions. The fact that people are so utterly uncaring about what the Bible says and about what really matters is not a joyous event, no not at all.

But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

- Galatians 1:8-9

For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

- Acts 20:29-31

Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

- 2 John 9-11

Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
