As a faithful Catholic I actually enjoy the show quite a bit. the depiction of hell is partially accurate. It is, after all, filled to the brim with all sorts of degenerate filth.
The highly inaccurate part is where the show is concerned about annihilationism. I mean literally the entire premise of the show is that the literal princess of hell he's trying to reform her subjects so they could get into heaven and escape the yearly purges. A soul can never be annihilated into nothing. That is heresy. Whether or not a damn Soul can be reformed I would say is debatable, but still going to lean on the side of it highly unlikely ( and possibly heretical).
Another thing that I do like about this show is our main protagonist princess Charli. Much like how Satan rebelled against his Creator, the princess is rebelling against her father. If Satan's objective is to drag Souls down to Hell, princess Charlie's objective is to get them in heaven. It's a very Noble Pursuit, which fits her character as a literal Noble.
I also like the music and the characters in the show. The radio demon being my favorite next to the princess.
The last thing that I really like about the show is that it's 100% fan funded. As of right now, there are no corporate entities attached to this show that would potentially Sully the artistic merit of it. A show like this would work great on a network like Adult Swim.
I'm really curious as to where the creators of the show will take this. Will our protagonist's efforts be completely in vain? Can a damned soul ever be redeemed?
TL;DR
This show gets a lot of things right, especially in regards to who is Damned (fags, drug addicts, furries, murderers, etc) but is very wrong in the grander theological notions that are set by this ( annihilationism of the Soul, Redemption of an eternally damned soul, etc)
