Because all the Priests that I've known on reddit are very liberal. One priest is a self professed autistic person who is pretty dishonest at least in his article which he said that Amoris Laetitia has no issues for anyone who is trained to read the Magisterium. Yeah like 4 Cardinals some of the best canon lawyers alive don't know how to read the Magisterium.
Without trying to sound rude, the vibe I get from a lot of 'hip priests online' are that they are more of the very liberal effeminate type. We do know we have a crisis of many homosexuals in the clergy and it seems that the very orthodox priests aren't really going around on reddit. That is just my limited observation, or vibe that I get. I could very well be wrong on other cases, but of like two priests and one Bishop in fact (he was all yeeeah ecumenism that's what we gotta do!) they've all seemed like ultra liberals. Hope that helps.

I can't say for certain, but if I were a priest, I imagine I'd probably be at the point where I no longer feel the need to defend the faith online and focus on my congregation in real life. That's just me though.

Now this isn't new, there are many Catholic Answers shills and everyone else spewing this same nonsense "Oh hey there is nothing weird about AL at all! It's all just an Internet gamer moment". Check out the TnT video on AL, you'll see how sneaky people are trying to brush this under the rug. I mean just recently Cardinal Burke released a syllabus of errors stating the AL errors again, as if these people don't know what's going on.
This sort of stuff is dishonest, to say oh there is nothing weird or wrong at all. I'd recommend Sensus Fidelium's youtube channel for good orthodox stuff.
Feeling peace is great. You don't always have to suffer. Your life is not over and there can be times of suffering or discomfort in the future. During those times we have to weather the storm. It's not always suffering or hardship, God is generous and gives us relief. But stay strong when it gets hard.
