tl;dr I think I wrote the Mark on my hand as a kid (and I'm left handed, so it would be on my right hand also), what do I do?

Since I was a kid, I've been struggling with intrusive thoughts, extremely blasphemous/sexual thoughts. I remember as a kid confronting my mom when I was having thoughts about our Savior which I can't speak of on this board, even before I knew what all of it was. When I was an atheist/Norse Pagan they went away, but when I came back to being a Christian, through pure physical necessity because my life was falling around me, the thoughts came back. Cursing God, incredibly violent, grotesque and sexual images regarding the most important parts of being a Christian.

Then one day, when I felt the urge to write 666 on my hand, but resisted, I then suddenly remembered a time when I was very young when I did, or didn't maybe. I was so young and I'm not sure if it actually happened, maybe I wrote it with a marker, or if I wrote it on a piece of paper, or I didn't finish it, idk. But either way it has shaken my life as a Christian. I thought God was with me, in the times a miracle happened where absolutely it should have been the opposite, when I felt God bring me to church, when I felt the Holy Spirit. But now this has changed everything.

I prayed to God many times as to what actually happened that day, I have read that the Mark of the Beast doesn't exist yet so you can't get it due to intrusive thoughts, and I notice the things I thought God has done for me in this life, but what if it was all for nothing? The blasphemous thoughts caused problems before, but now I feel the urge to drop everything, drop the church, drop Christianity, go back to paganism, regardless of whether or not it happened. why does any of it matter now?

I need advice from other Christians on this board.

Good news! The mark will be on the forehead. You were just being a rebellious edgy kid. You'll be fine. Just pray the Rosary and go to Mass.

Call your local parish and ask to talk to their exorcist. Pray he isn't some shitty Boomer priest but one that takes exorcism seriously.

OP You are not the only one , I have exacly the same problem as you . Blasphemous thoughts about Cursing God, incredibly violent, grotesque and sexual images regarding the most important parts of being a Christian are killing me almost every day for six years non stop. sometimes I cannot look at Christ because if I do these thoughts appear in my head reminding me of sins I've commited. every day im going more and more insane and I think I cannot bear it.

You didn't atually write the mark of the beast on your hand. The mark will be implemented by the anti-christ in the end times, it doesn't even exist yet.

You guys are demonised. Watch some Derek Prince videos on YouTube, or read his books.

Pray:

1. Declare Jesus as your Lord. Humble yourself before him.

2. Confess and repent of all sin, naming specific ones as they come to your mind.

3. Forgive all people for anything they've done against you, naming specific people as the names come to your mind.

4. Renounce all past involvement with the occult or false religions.

5. Break all curses against you. On the cross every curse was broken. On that basis ask for deliverance.

6. Take your stand with God and against the devil and all demons .

7. Expel - speak directly to any demons that have control and command them leave you in the name of Jesus.

The demons were happy when you were involved in paganism but are struggling against you now you're drawing closer to Christ.

That's not the Mark of the Beast at all. It's enforced onto you by the anti-Christ in order to prevent you from buying or selling. We don't even know what it looks like yet.

Just head to confession and talk to a pastor about it though.

Mark 7

1 Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.

2 And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.

3 For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands oft, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.

4 And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brasen vessels, and of tables.

>5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not thy disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashen hands?

6 He answered and said unto them, Well hath Esaias prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoureth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

>7 Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

>8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do.

>9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

10 For Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, Whoso curseth father or mother, let him die the death:

11 But ye say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me; he shall be free.

12 And ye suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;

>13 Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.

Are you Christian? Do you accept Jesus as your savior? Yeah, you're good then. God won't hold you accountable for something you did as a child. Children do stupid things they don't understand. That's the nature of being a child.

I know exactly how you feel. Its curious isn't. When I came back to Christianity the thoughts also came back.

But I have learned some great tools from a different practice. Buddhism helped me realize that you are not your thoughts.

Your mind is a thought generator, it can be influenced subconsciously, and its not exactly under our control. It rebels and does what it wants. When you decide to do something, it gives you thoughts about doing the exact opposite thing. But its up to you to follow those thoughts and act on them. You are not your thoughts. Be calm and pbserve them and align your actions with God's word.

We can talk more about this phenomenon though. The images, vivid images that are really inappropriate. I've also had them as a kid. Really vivid scary images about Jesus, Satan and whatever. They also went away when I became atheist and Buddhist. Returned when I came back to the Light.

I think its Satan trying to scare us again to docility. To go back to ignorance and away from God. We sin, yes, but never give up trying to go back to God.

Just keep pressing into God. Read, worship, pray and talk to God. I've been there, trust me, I know it's hard, but you know what else? I've been to three different continents since then as a missionary. If then my story is anything like your story, the thing is, you'll soon see amazing things. Stay faithful, go to church preferably a charismatic church that doesn't deny the spiritual realm and God will lay down the pieces for you to get past it.

meditation has helped me. Non mystical practice of slowing the mind. Thats not blasphemous is it anon?

I believe you are right. Its curious that the moment I returned to Christianity these thoughts resurfaced. Only now I come back with more mindfulness and a practice that helps me separate my thiughts from my actions.

Anyway, do you have any videos you recommend from Derek Price?
