I have found a lot of words that seem to refer to God being known as El and being a crescent shape and sun-like. Here is a list of what I have found so far. The same basic sound repeats.
Elbow: when your arm is shaped into a crescent
Hello: greeting, acknowledging God.
Yellow: the colour of the Sun
Elevate: lift up high towards God
Elite: high born and godly
Elves: magical creatures
Electricity: divine flow of power, e.g. the Holy Ghost
Allah: Arabic form of El directly meaning God. The symbol of Islam is the crescent.
Elephant: large terrifying creature of great strength.
Eldritch: supernatural
Hull (nautical): the crescent-shaped bottom of a boat
Hull (place): town on the crescent shaped bend of the Rivef Humber. Kingston upon Hull.
Hull (river): river flowing through thr great mudflat, exiting to Humber at Hull (town). God's newly made river.
Ellerby, Ellerker, West Ella, East Ella, Kirk Ella: outlying villages near Hull
The Yellow Emperor: legendary founding ruler of China
Elect: chosen by God.
Elland: village near Halifax. Unpopulated until industrialisation due to harsh landscape. God's newly made land, like the Ellas near Hull.
Hellenes: the children of God. (Greeks)
Helvetians: children of God (Swiss)
There are lots more. Will add them as I find them. The common theme is a ruined or harsh landscape, crescents and "solar" references.
