If you mean the federal Conservatives, it was basically between Max Bernier and Andrew Scheer.
Bernier is sort of a Canadian Rand Paul (except not a manlet) - in favour of less regulation, against supply management, pro-guns, culturally the archetypal `based Quebecois'.
Andrew Scheer is a literal who with no public profile.
Due to a last-minute surge of (((grassroots interest))) and a bunch of newly-registered members, Scheer won the leadership vote by a very slim margin. My prediction is he will lose to Trudeau next year (Liberal minority gov't) after which the CPC, if they have any sense, will dump him.
