So far it's pretty comfy. I was just reading manga about a girl that works at a laundromat.

It's the middle of winter and the ground is like the somme because it rains every day. I mean just keeping busy generally.

I overslept and so went to work hungry. There I've attended a conference call with some complete morons, organized my crowd and did nothing of significance. After I finished, I went straight to my HEMA classes and trained for three hours straight, nothing too fancy- just some sparring and technical exercises, but without anything crazy. Then I went home and here I am. A storm is coming and I can hear thunders, but there is no rain.

Well, I came back to this board and found that it blew up. So, that's good.

. . . I do hope someone tells whoever the BO is about the new attention so that he can get rid of all the gore and porn though . . .

It's been a real good day. Work was quiet and easy since it was a Friday. Got home, played some relaxing vidya (Atelier), and switched over to drinking tea and re-reading one of my first manga once I got tired of that. I enjoyed it as much as I did the first time. Currently winding out the night with a beer, the Bartender OST, and this lovely website.

Well, I'm glad this board got a new BO. Finally seems useable.

I just made a custom CSS, as between this and /cow/, there's just too many boards that are unpleasant to look at. Made some good progress yesterday.

Went to a vintage store, walked out having bought something cool, bought some cinnamon rolls at the nearby Kroger, got two pizzas from Dominos, then ate pizza while watching Jurassic Park. Somehow I'm super tired but it was an easy day. Before all that I talked a friend through something tough and he left from the conversation feeling motivated and happier so I'm glad I could do that for him.

I'm trying to find a job, but I haven't been too productive about it. I have some cake downstairs, and I've been thinking about some past interactions I've had.

Spent the day cycling out in the rain, which came and went from drizzle to dry all day. Took the long route to stop by for lunch at a good place I know downtown.

I stopped at the library and read for a good while on a random collection of epigrams and aphorisms I found, written by Chamfort, a late 18th century French writer. Someone played the piano somewhere across the small and deep courtyard, I recognized a piece from Philip Glass among them. "Opening" from "Glassworks", I think it was.

"There are more people who wish to be loved than there are who are willing to love."

It's late over here, I should go to bed. There are things in need of being done tomorrow.

I finished it awhile ago. Most of it seemed very commonsenseical (A thing is it's essence and that is how things are, a thing can be made of properties but is not itself just the collection of those properties, etc) so I'm pretty sure that a good chunk of it went over my head.

I guess the most "striking" thing would be his arguments with Platonic Metaphysics but my favorite part was Aristotle's summery of past Philosophy in the first section.
