You are a band of adventurers tasked by Lord Tiberius Revont to make out into the frontier lands known as the Stolen Lands to kill the self proclaimed "Bandit King" Stag Wolf. Due to your skill and teamwork you slew the bandit king and returned to claim your prize. One amongst you is proclaimed Baron of the Stolen Lands and is now tasked to build up a nation around yourselves and tame this brutal frontier. The rest of you have decided to stay as well for your own reason and have been rewarded handsomely for your troubles. However be warned, the once Stolen Lands were unclaimed for a reason, powerful threats lurk in the shadows of the forest, and other nations wish to turn your state into a vassal or slave nation, but with the risks come possibly endless resources and treasures!

Name: Orcbolg

Race: Human

Title: Leave blank for now

Fluff: No one knows he true name, but he is known well throughout the old world by the names bestowed upon him by the elves. Orcbolg is a man of few words, but one of great skill in the art of combat. Stories abound about his life; that he abandoned in the wilds and raised by Wolf, hence his social awkwardness and sheer brutality he shows to his enemies. Others say he was torn out of his mother's womb by non-other then the Infamous Goblin Warlord Gar'ush the Bloody, which explains why the death of the warlord was the personal mission of Orcbolg for much of his adventuring career. Others say he was delivered by the gods as a divine instrument of retribution against the monsters of the world. Truth was that Orcbolg lost his home when he was just 4, a fire burned everything to the ground and took his family with it. He was taken in by a odd man on the outskirts of town, an old retired warrior who treated the boy as a protege and not a son. He trained all his life to fight, with nothing else to take up his time. Eventually the old man died and Orcbolg did the only thing he knew how to do. Of course in lands such as these the man was no hard-pressed for work, and eventually made a name for himself as a bane to all greenskin and monster kind. This was his life, fighting and learning, as it was all the man knew. He was a solo act until only recently however, journeying to the frontier with a party tasked with killing the Bandit King. Another task completed, another job done, all who knew of Orcbolg thought for sure he would depart once more, ever the wanderer, but it would seem this time the warrior would hang around, if just for a little while.

>Name: Chainface

>Race: Human

>Title: Leave blank for now

>Fluff: In days long past, he was a trapper. He would spend months at a time in the harsh northern wilds, hunting beavers and possums and raccoons and deer and making crafts of their hides. He met a planklike young lass at a village dance and wedded her, and they lived in subpar matrimony for half a decade.

Until the ELVES came.

They raided the village for logging and hunting and trapping too close to their deepest, most sacred forests. They came to his home, took his wife and slit his throat after he charged them with his grandfather's greatclub. He bled out as he watched his home burn down, as his wife was carried off by the elven raiders.

When he awoke, healed by the village cleric, he was left unable to speak. He was broke aside from his hidden cache of gold and high-quality hides and his grandfather's club. With nothing else left, he chose the path of war. He exchanged his riches for a suit of chainmail and pursued the elves, his wife. When he learned that she had willingly left with them and now spent her days in carnal and magical delights, he abandoned his quest and went south, signing on as a mercenary, honing his skills on the ruffians of the Stolen Lands.

Now he is known only as Chainface: a six and a half foot brute incapable of speech who communicates through pantomime and carved wooden placards that have simple phrases. He is a fearsome fighter with his greatclub, a crack shot with the longbow and a bar brawler of renown. His face is covered more often than not by a chainmail shawl. His pleasures are drink, smokable herbs and battle. His goal: become the fiercest motherfucker this side of the Worldwound.

>Name: Father Zachariah

>Race: Human

>Title: Leave blank for now

>Fluff: It is rumored in the Kingdom, that certain powerful barbarian shamans have access to a secret spell, known only as "Summon Barbarians". This spell supposedly, allows them to apparate of thin air a horde of fearsome barbarian warriors and then dismiss them after the fighting.

In truth this is probably quite false, and simply refers to influential barbarians sending out messengers and gifts to various tribes.

However, after hearing this rumor, the priest Zachariah made a theory. He supposed that, as many wizards summon things from various planes (fire bolts from the plane of fire, lightning from the plane of lightning, water from the plane of water) there must therefore be a plane of Barbarians where these hordes come from and to. And if there are a plane of Barbarians, there must surely be a plane of Peasants, a plane of Soldiers, a plane of Knights and great warriors.

With the blessing of the church he delved into this theory until at last, a breakthrough. He had one day discovered he could summon several angry men of nowhere, who held in their hands pitchforks and torches, and wore the garb of the kingdoms peasants. As of yet these are but temporary conjurations, who dissapear after the fight, and he can only summon so many of them.

Father Zachariah believes that if he can harness and perfect his skill, he can summon even more fearsome warriors for the Kingdom. And perhaps one day, make them stay, permanently, as new subjects of the Kingdom.

Some claim the priest a madman sanctioned by Church and State, others a zealot for the faith, whatever the case Zachariah pursues his goal with an almost fanatical devotion, shouting hymns and verses to rally his conjured horde onward.

Arcadius

In a place where men of dark allegiances reigned one wayward son would reclaim the sword of his family and forge his own truth. Social standing granted little when one was born into a den of snakes. These vipers wearing human skin served only themselves. When the dark forces that traded with the court came to collect on what was due them for the prosperity of the land wholesale slaughter was unleashed. He found his dear childhood friend Eilonwy and they ventured into the catacombs of the castle to find escape but what they found was a court buried in all its forgotten and cobwebbed splendor. There Arcadius would resolve himself to a last stand to the death and so he drew the dead king's sword. It was a magic blade, a legacy of times when great weapons were forged and broken in open battle with the masters of these pathetic creatures that were running amok in the castle. He saw now that they were pathetic creatures as they were bathed in the light of his torch and sword. There was power in steel and flesh and magic but these things lack the spark. Will was the force behind the flesh, the swinger of the sword, and the bender of spirit. So he willed himself into slaughtering the foul mockeries of the human form. He took what companions he could and set out with the only remnants of home worth keeping.

Before journeying into the territory of the Bandit King he would leave Eilonwy in a safe place and send after her when it was safe and if his fortunes had been good. If bad, he could trust his companions to take back a token of his she could bury.

>Bonus: [Holy "Gift"] Zachariah believes that he has been blessed by the god/s themselves and thus receives a +3 bonus to all rolls do to his own sheer confidence. However if this resolve is ever shaken then there will be a big problem.

>Fluff: In a place where men of dark allegiances reigned one wayward son would reclaim the sword of his family and forge his own truth.

>Bonus: [Lich] You are capable of raising dead bodies to act as mindless servants for you. As of now they are simple constructs with a limited time frame, but with study and lots of practice you will be able to do great things with these powers. Great and terrible things

Name: Orcbolg

Race: Human

Title:

>Title: Leave blank for now

>Fluff: Lothar woke up one day in a field with a sword in his gut, surrounded by pale corpses. He felt no pain as he wretched the blade from his ribs, and claimed it as his own. The next few hours were spent looting the bodies of the dead for armor, supplies and trinkets, and wandering the neighboring forests until he stumbled, at midnight, upon a village beset by a few unknown creatures. Unsure of his own humanity, he nevertheless still retained his moral compass and fought the foul beasts. The villagers found him at daybreak hacking the head off a werewolf and upon seeing the lacerations on his body and the indifference he paid to them, they correctly assumed his undeath and, as a mob, managed to subdue him. He cried out for mercy, that he was not a true undead for he maintained his sanity. He was convincing enough for the people to bring him before the village elder. The elder decided not to have him burned, as undead usually must be, but instead had him sent to Lord Revont due to his martial prowess. He proved his worth as a champion, feeling no pain and knowing no fear, though he was always mistrusted. It grew increasingly harder to maintain a guise of normalcy as flesh rotted off his face and body. Now, as a half skeleton knight, Lothar must slay the beasts of the night and discover the mystery of his circumstances.
