Most of the artist did their best and worked with me to get it at least close. Only two or three ever voiced any problem with the idea. Maybe they didn't see it as a fetish? Brain and internal organ fetishes are rather rare, maybe they saw it as simple gore, as most artist considered internal organs, even neatly in their place as gore. Limiting potential artist. it often wasn't the "oddest" fetish on their list. Even in the relatively small ranks of gore artist, you find a wide variety of people. With a range of views on how a commission is done. Like most, I started at the cheap end of artist. Seeing what spending more got me and slowly move up the price scale. The artist was using google translate and wasnt sure what I meant, and when they looked up the character, they found she was a cyborg assassin, and figured that is what a cyborg with their head cut open would look like. I like seeing her internal organs, so human for the art she stays. Lately I'm not really sure why I'm doing this. What do I want? What is my goal? What am I looking for? I obviously felt most brain art didn't satisfy something, but what? Most drawings depicting brains are so cold and medical. They don't feel like the wrinkled mass barely hidden behind passerby's foreheads. Controlling their every thought and movement. These commissions make it feel more personal. More like what you see/imagine people you pass by. For Henrietta, it's as much trying to show off her body to her lover, but he loves her on the inside. The first image with this post captures that feeling of being embarrassed showing your body for the first time to the guy you like. Henrietta has been immensely important to me over the years. Maybe the art makes her feel more like she is real, like someone I can interact with. Not someone stuck in their own story.

The last post on >>683 is significant as it's based of a person I saw sitting like that and mimics how she looked when you imagine her with x-ray vision. The piece really draws me to it. The four lobotomy pieces live out my feelings of disrupting the intelligence center of the brain and exploring the female anatomy. The brain room is an attempt to express an idea from a dream from when I was little. (I've been interested in brains since 5th grade) And realize that you don't get to see all the brains, if you can see there is a room of them. The artist noticed that and added a cart with brains on it so we can see them. They got the names of four girls I've liked in the past. Only one person knows about all of this in my life. They think of the all art as an obsession. Maybe i'm looking for the perfect expression of Henrietta and everything I love about her. And experimenting with thoughts and ideas along the way.
