I'm spending around £200 a month on PEDs and nootropics.
If you don't have much to invest you can put your productivity quality of life through the roof just by injecting 250mg of testosterone once a week and taking 200mg of modafinil up to twice a week.
Research the effects of testosterone levels on trading success if this advice doesn't seem relevant to this board. I take it (at supraphysiological dosages alongside other compounds) because I'm a /fit/ fag with body dysmorphia and a superiority complex but most men (especially in the West where everything is so estrogenic) would benefit from it purely from a therapeutic standpoint.

I noticed a big difference just by taking the following:
Vitamin C (1000 mg)
Ginkgo Biloba
Fish Oil
Vitamin D
Vitamin B12
And to top it off I drink green tea instead of coffee. I feel a lot more alert than I did before, but I also feel sharper and more able to think clearly. Brain fog went away.

On that angle of going long for the sake of the nation, the only real way I've seen onshoring and localization of a business show real success without any nationalistic intentions is if that business has a very clear interest in shortening lead times for economic gain. This means that business must value being the first to respond to market/consumer trends instead of being the cheapest to market.
From China to the US, the lead time spans 1-3 months minimum from the moment a change is ready to be implemented. A lot of that time is eaten up through transoceanic transit. It also tends to slow down the pace of business by a lot and globalized companies really dislike changing any product or process due to that. US-based companies have lead times of 3-4 weeks because their distribution just simply covers less distance.
The US may not have a consumer mindset of seeking rapid iteration, seeing how the race to the bottom led to new iterations of products being inferior to their older counterparts in some cases. China has managed to leverage their export-oriented manufacturing to rapidly iterate and modernize in the span of 20 years. Half a century ago, China was just another Asian shithole. Today, it's an Asian shithole with a lot of fancy toys and they keep wanting to steal the ideas for new toys, given that it greatly improves their outcomes doing so.

I think it also has a great deal to do with where it's grown. The tea-making nations that export the vast majority of their crop are also massively polluted, and plants have this habit of being really good at bioaccumulating it.
