Nah my job is fine. I'm actually quite content with where I ended up. From homeless teenager to job hopping burnout to college burnout to public educator, I think I could have done a lot worse. I also enjoy the satisfaction I get out of my line of work, as I feel as if I'm offering something genuine to a group of kids who had it just as bad as I did.
Nah, the suicidal tendencies come from a deep seated tendency for alcoholism, regret that I'm not the person I used to be, nihilistic attitudes towards any type of mindless 9-5 grind lifestyle, a less than satisfactory marriage and a desire to not grow old, despite the fact that I've been effectively made to grow up.
I wanted to be dead in a rail yard with nothing but my guitar and a slew of empty forties by 25. Now here I am, quickly approaching thirty and if teenage me could see what a jaded anus I'd become, he'd have just killed himself then and saved us both the trouble.

The only time I was ever happy was when I was living on peoples couches or in vans playing guitar on the side of the road for money to spend on a McChicken and whatever drugs my friends had connections to at the time.
I want to be free again. I never had to worry about shit like bills, or social obligations, getting to work on time or not pissing off the wrong people.
