Your timeline is off.
ABU's original owner Baby Kyle made a deal with David Anderson to fund the original run of Star Diapers together. This was after they stocked Tiger Underwear for a while, establishing the two had a relationship. It was a joint venture, not one bailing out the other.
ABU branded them as BMX diapers to hide the connection. But ABDLs found the connrction immediately, as for a brief period ABU used a cropped picture of (I believe) Scotty.
ABU sold through their portion of diapers, and stopped listing them. It wasn't until much later ABU went under from mismanagement and poor customer service. Which is when Casey bought the company and turned it around.
The big question is, who was Baby Kyle. Which is something likely only Casey could answer.

I don't have(won't post) specifics but this wealthy-liberal "modern alternitive" school by me got in trouble for making kids who had incidents of accidents wear diapers as punishment and being essentially put in solitary confinement like this with no bathroom breaks each day. Some real weird "mental reporgramming" shit meant for 30-minute timeouts in 4 year olds. This was for kids even in highschool ages if they even peed while laughing too hard. Turns out the principal/owner was a fraud who didn't have any of his college degrees or experience in European schools like he said. Had tons of felonies and fled the country so they shut it down rather than try to unwind how to fix the school.

Here is the original guide.
By today's standards its pretty unimpressive.
3 M4s (1 must be one size larger than your size)
2 Depends stuffers
2 small poise pads
1 huggie
1 knife
Duct Tape
The larger M4 is outermost shell, use the knife to slice a vertical line, and then horizontal line in the other two. Layer them on top of each other. Then slice the two depends stuffers and layer them. Use the tape to secure the 2 normal M4s and the 2 stuffers in to a 4 layer diaper stuffer. Place this stuffer into the larger M4. Slice and place the huggie mid center of the diaper. Finally take the pad remove protective tape,and place the sticky side on the top and bottom to afix the 4 layer stuffer to the large M4.
