Sadly most people seem to have scattered. Moe is populated by like five circlejerking retards, reddit is garbage. Most of the action seems to be happening in private discord servers these days. Those who value their sanity hang out on four chan trash or soc boards, but you know they have their own problems. Shit sux.

Honestly it's only going to get worse. The younger abdls can't shut up about and don't seem to care that it doesn't respect your freedoms such as not allowing tor, not working with some vpns if they have been blacklisted and eventually asking for a fucking phone number if Discord thinks there is something weird going on with your account. I know being able to setup Discord within minutes is nice but it's a pretty normalfag way of thinking when you realize that it has been used to replace forums/boards which were just fine if you ask me. I feel that part of it are phonefags who for whatever reason need to look at diaper porn through their phones. I can't tell you how many times I've seen images with phone filenames on the 4cuck diaper threads or reading some anons comment about them saving images to their phones. Even with open source alternatives to Discord, them getting any traction isn't going to happen even if Microsoft had purchased Discord or any other company that would buy it and monetize their users.
Fuck I'll admit I used AIM, and the other instant messengers back then and that I didn't know shit about IRC so I was naive about it too but I wouldn't fucking use those services back then for anything fetish related if they were as aggressive as Tech companies are today because it's fucking stupid using a service that wants your personal information and making it difficult to obfuscate your personal information because you decide to use tor, vpn, unidentifiable phone number or an email address that didn't require a phone number to create and that tech company running said service decides that you shouldn't be able to do that because of some bullshit security reason.

Both yours and Stallman's points are completely valid.
But young people want convenience over privacy. Discord combines the speed of instant messengers like IRC but keeps old posts and media like a traditional forum and has channel for organizing content.
They can't be bothered to use a forum for sharing content and an IRC for a quick chat with friends, even though you can be anonymous on both through VPN or TOR.
It's impossible to force these people to forget about Discord. The solution is to keep using the tested and true tools, Discord will eventually sink. Some content will be lost forever but that's the price to be paid, people learn from their mistakes and just a handful learn from somebody else's mistakes.

This place was so alive 4-5 years ago and the best place to be. No place I've gone to since has matched what I enjoyed about here. I was in a discord for about a year, but it was filled with too many fragile people. I guess I never realized how many soft skinned people this kink really had; foolish on my part.
