I wish I knew the stories behind some of these. >>103384 and the second and third in >>103386 are pretty cute, but I cant tell if its just someone playing around or if its actually there for a reason. Are they ABDL? Are they just regular people joking around? (I remember seeing some picture like this and it was a bunch of nursing students just being funny or something) Or do they actually need them for something (either temporarily for some procedure that takes a long time or that might cause temporary incontinence or something, or on a long term basis because of some preexisting condition) and are just being bold and up-front about it and sort of saying "yeah, this is life and im gonna embrace it"?

I believe pregnant women are diapered sometimes. And there would be cases where someone can't use a catheter for some reason (infection maybe) so they are diapered during/after a surgery involving anesthesia. It would be rare though

I have a spinal disc injury and have intermittent "toilet trouble". [Of course, I'm also a perverted DL, but my medical colleagues don't know that].
Most hospital diapers are shit. They're cheap, bought in bulk for minimum money and not maximum absorbency. They can, at most, take one decent wetting, but are more designed for the much more common 'dribble' type of UI.
If I were going into hospital as a DL and I knew a period of inco would result (which is far from unlikely for me!) I sure as hell would take my own 'supplies'. I also think the nurses would understand – or understand at least if they didn't have cutesy animals on them…

There was a blog ages ago, by a girl with some kind of major health issues. she candidly talked about wearing diapers and was small enough that her favorites were Underjams and some brand of youth tape-ons. She had some pictures of her in them and then in others you could see them under her jeans, etc.
Unfortunately, her last post implied she was either about to die or about to end it herself. And at some point, the blog got eaten by the internet gremlins. There's bits and pieces of it on archive but most of the pictures have gone.
