I'm the opposite in a way. My mother is white while my father is from Mexico. I don't mind it too much. I'm not over 6' like my uncles on my mother's side, but I'm not a manlet like my dad either. My father's family actually assimilated into America properly unlike so many other spics that come here. Grandma is your classic tiny Mexican grandmother, but she learned and speaks English quite well. It's whatever I guess.

No I can't say I do. My grandparents did it the legal way and had no need to claim asylum. Frankly I think it's cowardly to run to a more stable country. Understandable especially when you have a family, but cowardly. On top of that it's completely pointless. Honestly for every Mexican you let in, more will take their place in terms of birth rate. It is a fool's errand to try to make peace in this way. Personally I want a wall. Maybe with their backs against it, Mexicans will take back their country from the cartels and the corrupt.

The fact that it is so easy to emigrate to USA is causing a massive brain-drain from rest of the world to USA. If you want to fix your countries problems, best way is to stop the smart people from leaving. In Europe, Romania has the same problem, everyone leaves for better money in Western Europe
