I remember hearing about this fag who much recently falls in line with the "skeptic/atheist" crowd, despite technically being Antitheist. He publicly embarrassed Uri Gellar on live television, as little as I know of Uri himself, I know that Randi basically made it much of his career to scapegoat Uri.
When I was looking for opposing views on Randi, apparently his $1M prize involved a contract that basically set up a law-&-order-SVU-situation for the performer, where they were basically Randi's prisoner. Randi could "legally" move the goalposts with the terms of his contract, and he could be an abusive asshole to the performer all he wants.
Of course if he actually did that and was taken to court, he would be legally fucked on the premise of basic human rights. That's why he sent inflammatory letters to people looking to prove themselves, because he wanted to win more than he wanted the truth.
