Body doubles have been a tactic of the elite for a very very long time. Saddam Hussein alone had I believe seven different body doubles. It is rumored that Osama bin laden had a double.

Hell, Saddam's son Uday had a body double that a movie was made about. Its called "The Devils's Double".

Paul McCartney died in a "car crash" back in 1966 after his handlers discovered he was working on the musical score for a documentary scrutinizing the JFK narrative, and his body double still graces the spotlight to this day.
