This is really weird timing to see this thread. I had a dream last night that I had to make a pact with a succubus. I found a loophole in what I was supposed to recite so she only had my soul for the time we had sex. She even transformed into my ex-girlfriend to make me hornier. Then she and her incubi friends made me stay a bit longer so we can act out a play since that seems to be what they did to pass time and they needed another actor. After that, we ate donuts and snacks. They were pretty nice for a group of demons. I thought she just wanted me to impregnate her but maybe they also enjoyed having me over.

Anyone for power, huh? Well, you're not giving me much to go on, but fuck it, let's do it anyway.
I don't know why you want power, but you need to sit down and write a letter to "Whoever will hear my plea" and tell them specifically what you want and why you want it. Writing power real big with a crayon on a piece of paper won't cut it. Are you getting bullied at school? Tired of Chad making fun of you for being a beta? Write a blogpost about that shit and put some emotion into it. Let your blood boil with anger or get tears in your eyes and ball your fists. There needs to be a good reason why you want power and why they should help you. After writing said feels down on paper, sign your name at the bottom. Then, cut or poke your finger, whatever draws blood, and smear the blood across your name. Don't cut your finger off. It doesn't need to be much. I poke my finger with a needle when I do it. Keep your letter of intent in your pocket or under your pillow while you gather the rest of the stuff you need.
Get yourself a scrying mirror. You don't need to buy one. It doesn't have to be ornate with skulls and shit. Get an old picture frame, clean it up, paint the inside of the glass black, and reassemble. Ta da! Now you have a black mirror. Go get a black or red candle. You're not going to piss off any demons if your candle smells like apples and cinnamon. Any black or red candle will do. Last thing, a fireproof bowl or pot. You can use a fucking frying pan if you'd like. Just don't burn your house down.
After you've got everything ready, put them on a desk with a chair nearby and set your alarm for 3am. Wake up. Disable your smoke detector! Setup your black mirror with your candle in front of the mirror. Light your candle. Read your letter of intent. Once you've read it, roll it up and set it on fire with the candle. Lay the burning letter in the bowl or pan and chant “Alash Tad Al-Ash Tal Ashtu” till the letter burns out. Wipe the ashes on your forehead and stare into the black mirror through the candle's flame for 30 minutes while thinking about why you want power. Once you've finished, blow out the candle and go back to bed.
That should be enough to get your house haunted or hear voices in your head. Check back and let me know how things work out for you.

Ask for help from Archangel Raphael for physical and spiritual strength. Don't expect to wake up the next day looking like Brock Lesnar. This is my take on it. Keep in mind this is based on a Christian demonology point of view from an autistic novice in magick, preferably white or Enochian when available, not full Golden Dawn adept. People think of demons as automatically being evil spirits who are out to destroy you. Meh. Kinda sorta, but not really. Angel and Demon and Daemon are like job titles. "Dr. Wilson" and "Officer Murphy" like so. In the spirit world where we assume Yahweh is the king and the God (capital G) of all gods, spirits serving under him have jobs or roles that they fulfill. Think of it like a court system. Yahweh being the supreme judge, Satan was/is the prosecutor, and Angels being the cops. Jesus is your defense attorney btw. Heaven is freedom under God's laws and Hell is prison. Demons are the CO's. Follow me on this because I'll tie it all together and put a pretty bow on it.
One day in Heaven, Yahweh decided to create the universe and mankind as a love project, like building an ant farm for fun. God created Adam and Lilith. (Hey! That's not in the Bible! Well, anon, it's in the parts of the Bible that they don't want you to know about.) Prosecutor Satan decided to tempt and deceive man either out of jealousy or for the lulz. Yahweh wasn't too happy about this, but allowed it. Adam got fed up with Lilith's "stronk independent woman feminist bs" and asked God for a new and improved woman v2.0, so God created Eve from Adam's rib. God finally had enough of their bitching and moaning about "muh humans" that he kicked them all out of Heaven and fired them from their jobs as Angels. That's where the term "Fallen Angel" comes from. Meanwhile back on Earth, Lilith and Cain meet up and start fucking like rabbits. X number of years pass and the Fallen Angels finally show up and not being bound by God's law, they act on free will as well. "Hey, Azazel. Check out that hot bitch over there. Mmmm. Them tiddies though!" "You're not really going to have sex with a human are you?" "Sure! Why not. What's going to happen? It's not like Yahweh is going to fire us from our jobs. I'm gonna get all up in them guts. I'll give her a creampie too. Think I can knock her up?" "DO IT!!!" And time rolls on from there. What we think of demons are the Fallen Angels and their offspring. Anything in opposition to Yahweh is labeled as evil. Obeying Yahweh is good. What about other gods like Odin or Zeus? They exist too, but not as powerful as Yahweh, so they get a daemon label slapped on them because any god other than Yahweh is forbidden. Based on this story, if you're not playing for Team Yahweh and Yahweh wins in the end, then you're screwed because as we've seen with his own Angels, he has no qualms about kicking you out of his Heaven.
In summary, praying to an Angel is like asking for help from a cop who's on duty. He has a set of rules and laws that he must abide by to keep his job. Does that mean that all cops or Angels are good? Eh, it's less risky. A cop can shoot you if he feels like it, but it's not likely to happen unless you're being retarded or committing a crime. Cops aren't supposed to accept bribes, but some dirty cops do. Asking an Angel for help requires no payment. Demons, on the other hand, are former cops or bastard children of ancient tinder hookups. They're criminals in God's eyes. Demons act on their own will and don't abide by any rules. Does that make them evil or mean that they are bound to hurt you? No, but there's nothing stopping them from doing it. If a demon fucks your shit up, what's the worst that can happen to him? Yahweh fires him from his job and kicks him out of Heaven? See where I'm going? And does a demon want something in return for his work? Would you work for free, anon? Demons are shady characters, so tread lightly. You might work with a really cool demon or you might end up getting ripped off in the deal. That's my take on it.

Yes. The Ars Goetia assigns a rank and a title of nobility to each member of the infernal hierarchy. When a Christian prays, they are praying to Yahweh and using the blood of Jesus as signature. When you do your own invocation, you're cutting Yahweh out of the picture and going directly to an Angel or Demon and using your own blood to sign your pact. Before you do anything, write the letter, and when you write it make sure you are very specific about what you want. Try not to give any room for misunderstanding. I wrote it over about four times on different papers and revised it until I thought it was detailed enough. Sign your name at the bottom, I didn’t have a needle so I took a knife and slashed my middle finger, it was surprisingly preferable to just jabbing a needle in there. Put the blood thoroughly over your first and last name, covering it pretty much. After you’ve done that, write down “Alash Tad Al-Ash Tal Ashtu“ on a piece of paper just to read while you do this ritual, if you want you can just memorize it.
Go to sleep, have an alarm for 3, don’t have your phone or any electronics near you preferably. Bring your letter to the table turn off the lights, light the candles, make sure the candle is in front of the black mirror. Bring out your bowl, (I used a ceramic one). Read your letter very passionately, then light it with the candle, as soon as it starts burning drop it in the bowl and chant, “Alash Tad Al-Ash Tal Ashtu“. You will notice the fire roaring a lot as you chant and mine got quite big for such a small piece of paper. Chant it passionately, then when it’s finally burnt out, put two fingers in the ash and rub it on your forehead. I kept rubbing it on my forehead just to make sure it was on there but you should be good doing it once. Look into the mirror for thirty minutes, it is difficult to time this sort of thing, only because I don’t have a watch or even A clock in my room, and didn’t want to turn my phone on, but just look into there for so long that in your head you’d know it’s been over 30 minutes.
After that, I turned the black mirror face up and left it on my desk, blew the candle out, and went to bed. It was quite difficult going back to bed but I did it. The next day nothing special happened, not even a sign of a demon or anything.
