I remember seeing the picture he made to announce the animation and I thought she looked like a good pred to then find out that no she isn't the pred which is the main issue I have.
I don't mind the animation and I also like cruel and sadistic vore, but when I see this it's more like a hate Boner because I just find the pred boring and the prey interesting. You also have the back story which amplifies the sad theme.
Yet I can't hate it because I kind of find it appealing in a sad way. The idea of someone interesting and in this situation someone who was finally going to confess their love, for them to then have some random girl who probably has no goals or future plans to treat them like a snack and eat them. Then after eating the poor girl to just sit around and chill with some friends with neither her or her friends caring about the girl. It's make's me sad but for some reason my ape brain loves tragic shit and this animation is just that plus vore.
Another thing I will say is that I wish he would of gone all out though, like seeing the prey pov, the digestion sequence and maybe some scat. If he was willing to make the animation sad then it's better going all out as I feel that there are elements that could if made this way more sad without ruining the feeling.

I think casual vore is the king of uncaring and fucked up vore, I've seen so many stories where the idea of casual vore means prey suffer with no escape and are treated like shit just because their now food.
The pictures are really just uncaring vore but to be fair fucked up vore is a broad term. It's also interesting because kronguss commented on the post of the colour version which I think is a good way to explain his animation.
