The only reason people like her is because of the game she is in, if she was in a indie game or in something like overwatch then nobody would of cared. But because she a big woman in a RE game then everyone was all over her. It's like when a new character is in smash, people overreact only because it's smash not because of the character, you could put a goomba in smash and people will hype it up.
Popular series get more hype especially when they do something that they normally don't do. If RE had more character that were as sexual as big tits then the hype for her would of never been this big.
You can tell it's an overreaction by how it blew up and the many people who would say things like "big mommy milkers" or "big goth vampire" they like the joke not the character.
I think her design okay, but nowhere near top 5 RE girls just because she a plane character that dies with in 10 minutes of meeting her and all she had was she was THICC as fuck. I also think if she wasn't in the trailer then people would of overlooked her, without the exposure she would of been the first boss and that's it.

The only reason she was hyped wasn't because of the game it was because of the design she has overall, a lot of people find most of her attributes atractive shame that yes there wasn't really much for character development or a way to explain more of her since she does die rather quickly ,if she wasn't in the trailer she would still cause the same impact it did they both joke and like the character, also what does that have to do with Angie being pred, still I don't see her as much as a pres because well she is a doll mainly, someone would have to redraw her in a way that makes her attractive in a way.

I prefer Angie I'm not saying she better just that I like her more and I wanted to know who else liked her more, I know it's a odd choice of pred but vore is odd as well. I may of been a bit Harsh on tits McGee but I still think that a bit of the love she got was because of the hype. The only way to know for sure is to wait it out, if people are still showing large amounts of interest after a month or two then it would be fair to say that she isn't just a fad. Like Jill and Ashley? You'd have an easier time finding a RE character that wasn't sexualized, although I haven't played the remasters they've been shitting out lately. Even if they went toned it down they still have been re-releasing RE4 and that game is full of stuff like Luis comment on Ashley's boobs, being able to look up Ashley's skirt with her even reacting to it, that ending scene, her alt costumes, etc.

(As sexual), they have some sex appeal but it's not over the top like big Mama, most RE girls are still pretty tame compared to girls in other games, which makes sense since it's mostly survival horror or action based. No big hips no massive thigh or over the top breasts at least from the main cast. So when a character with those traits appear it is pretty new for the series, the fact she got this much attention show how different she is.
The last time I saw this much love for a design was for revelation's Jill, because she wore a skin tight suit. Comparing that to alcina it's a massive leap form kind of curvey to only curves. If you took the boob's of every RE girl you would probably get enough mass for alcina left tit and that's it.

I have to agree that it's definitely a pred most people wouldn't do unless for a commission, after all it's Pretty much an ugly doll to most. So unless there's another person who likes her I may have to commission something for her one day.
For the question of whether she would work as a pred, shortstack is one way, but I can see it happening in other ways like the virus gives her the ability to eat People (I have this thing for preds that digest prey but don't need to eat to live which would work well with a doll pred) or it's an hallucinations.

It's a hard topic to talk about because Capcom really toned it down in recent years. 2 of those pics are from newer games or the remasters, and the other is Ashley who kinda contradicts your point IMO. Even now I'm realizing in their rereleases of older games they've been cropping the sexual stuff. The RE0 remaster just totally redid rebecca's model and removed her hips/ass almost completely and she looks like a dude. They probably did the same thing with Ashley in the 20 different RE4 remasters.

As a massive Ada fan you're not giving her enough credit. Remake 2 Ada actually has a large butt, let alone super defined curves, plus they put her in a slim-fitting cocktail dress which contradicts the more "realism" of the remakes. Hence why they got rid of Jill's tube top and skirt, replacing it with the tank tops and jeans.

I'm the opposite. I like the prey to be attractive and the pred to be ugly. It adds that extra feeling of dominance when something so cute gets eaten by something ugly. The RE Outbreak gamma hunters were just frog things, and basically high-quality furries, but the newer gamma hunters are way too ugly for me.
Also the more realistic the vore the better. The gamma hunters have this gigantic mouth and enormous stomach which makes them really believable preds for same-size stuff. The vore sequence was also really really well animated aside from their stomach going completely back to normal within 2 seconds. The way they just grab a girl and shove them in their mouth was perfect. I still don't like them because they're ambiguously male preds, but since they're frog monsters it could really be imagined either way.

I think I kinda get it, I've always liked sad stuff and the idea of losing someone you like is something I have seen with female pred done well. like losing the one you love to a greedy pred who eats them to taught you or to have you to themselves.
