I was thinking of writing a few different stories as sort of a "sample platter" for people, but I'd prefer to not have to write 9 stories just for short, medium, and long length (at the least, I'm writing 3 stories for gender pred/prey roles, size preference, and setting), so I'd mostly like to know if people prefer a quick read, a dedicated story, or something moderate and in the middle.

However, I don't know if it would be better to save my creativity reserves for one genre or attempt to disperse ideas between the different genres.

That's one of the things I've been debating, is whether to keep it short and to the vore point or to draw out some non-vore stuff. I'm sort of hoping to make my stories as stories, rather than just quick erotic reads. I was going to create my own lore and settings, so I'm hoping to avoid caving in and doing fan-fiction. May do one or two if I really feel there's a lack in a particular area, but for the most part, I'm going original the full way.

I have more interest in doing sci-fi, medi-fant, and another genre or two that are really unexplored, especially in vore. I don't really have much planned for doing "modern society with vore/elves/etc."

I do intend to mark the stories with bits where people can get a basic introduction, then skip to the juicy bits. For the most part, though, I'm just trying to figure out a good length, and I think a medium length with notations for where to skip for "this and that" might be the best option.

As for what it's about, my disclaimer is that I've only seen one or two vore stories and I've been disappointed in them. That's part of what inspired me to write this down. So apologies if it sounds overdone, because I literally wouldn't know.

How many words are you up to now?

I wrote up something for personal purposes a while ago. The gist of it is that the protag (it's told from a first person perspective) is friends with a giantess that likes to eat people, but sees him as a friend instead of food. The protag gets accidentally eaten along with a bunch of other people, and despite several attempts at escape ends up asphyxiating in her gut with the rest of her meal. The giantess in the story is based off of a Vivian James type character, since I've always liked chubby redheads.

I wrote the story for personal consumption while I was recuperating from a couple broken ribs, so I had a lot of time on my hands and the length of the story got a bit out of hand. As a result, it's several pages long, but this is mostly because the story goes into pretty intricate detail about what's happening to the protag before and during his trip to her belly and as he digests. I tried to make it as anatomically correct as I could too, so it's about as realistic as a short story about a giantess swallowing a man could be.

Should I post? It's a bit long, so if you prefer quick stories you might not like it. I split it into sections based on what's going on in each section though.

I just skimmed about 1/3 of it so far while I was fapping, but I can give you some better criticism later when I have time to read it normally (it's pretty long at 30k words).

My first impression is that your style is pretty different, both from how I write and from most vore stories I've read. It's nice to see variety but I'm not sure I agree with all the choices you made. The dialogue formatting is a big part of that. It's very distracting and by writing it like that you make it much harder to use dialogue tags for description and action.

However, the concepts you're working with (what I picked up at least) are interesting and refreshing to see in vore, so I enjoyed it a lot from that angle. On the fetish side of things, I like some nitty gritty gastric details, but usually as a way to portray the pred's gluttony and satisfaction, and less for their own sake like you seem to be interested in. It's still pretty hot though.

It would honestly be easier to read if you merged the dialogue with the descriptive paragraphs. I mean, look at pretty much any narrative book and you can see how dialogue is supposed to be structured. The result would be a much more compact, easier to read story.

Hello, I am this anon. I wanted to follow up on this >>20735 concept and made considerable progress, but had to take a personal break. In this time, I realized that such a long-winded story was not necessarily in high demand, and then it hit me last night. Monster girls are in high demand. I've seen some works involving their unique mannerisms and biology, even monster girl bestiary entries, but no one's really done a vore-themed compendium of sexy monsters, right? So I wanted to launch into a series of stories and bios about cute monsters (♀) eating people and taking over the world.

I want to walk through the lives of various hungry, sexy monsters as they hunt, eat, and live their beautiful lives!

First, I want to cultivate their survival habits in different settings. What sort of prey they prefer, what their hunting habits and techniques entail, and how they survive in the wild. Smarter monsters might be able to make the food come to them. Some monstrous women have no honor whatsoever, and will resort to cruel tactics like hostages and raid threats!

Secondly, I want to address how they feed. Do they torment their prey, do they comfort them? And how do they enjoy their meal? What do they like most about eating humans?

Third, I want to get into their bodily and digestive functions. This part is very important for me. How do the girls absorb people into their bodies? Are their digestive products useful? Do they make anything special? And how does the monster's appetite for humans in particular benefit it?

Fourth, I want to write about how they operate in a society filled with other monster ladies and easily accessible humans. Monsters may be cruel to humans but they are kind to one another. After all, the happier a monster is, the better it becomes. This is why livestock monsters are treated with love and care, to make their products tastier! A little bit about monsters' cultural impact will also be revealed.

And that fact brings us to section five. Or, each monster's strengths as a lover, and their household needs. How do they share their love and support one another, and how does their appetite change their lovers' perceptions of them? Does it make them more cute and cuddly, or does it give them a menacing dominance? And their children, too.

All in all, although monsters try very hard to civilize their kind, there are some animalistic aspects that they just can't get rid of. There's no helping the smell of a cow girl barn as they play, socialize, sweat, and accomplish their functions.

Of course, each story should have a brief intro to the rules of the world so I can save time for myself and the reader. And the first chapter of all will describe a girl who wakes up as an orc. Orcs come in flavors of ugly to elflike, and they eat fairly normally.

World-building has always come naturally to me, I think. At least, according to a select few.

All you really have to do is lay some simple rules that make your world different from the norm, such as an origin plot for supernatural events. Even if you do not share it with the audience, you can give yourself breathing room as you see fit and start to tether your ideas to your foundation.

So for my theme, women aged between 15-36 started to become superior species, each with improved physical attributes, eternal youth, and in some circumstances a few weaknesses. Each one has the ability to swallow humans whole, even fairies. And they have to do it often if they hope to survive. As they get a taste for human lives and the strength they give them, they start to become truly monstrous in spirit as well as body. And they need to take certain precautions to survive in the wild. I added a few symbolic traits to them as well, just a little gross. For example, monsters do smell a bit more animalistic. That just makes good hygiene even more important for them. Covering up their scent helps them hunt and makes them more likable. Also, their shit has a very distinct smell to it. It's powerful and unpleasant, because it's derived from an inherently evil act. Sort of a callback to their true, corrupt nature. For this reason, they prefer to use toilets to dispose of their victims and conceal their presence. Or, using the humans' own invention against them.

Soon, they craft a society where humans play an important part as the core nutrition.

The more humans a monster eats, the better they perform. And the more "aligned" with the monster's tastes they are, the more effective. This is because the happier the girl is, the greater she becomes! For example, a species of monster might find it more delicious when their prey is willing. For this reason, there are facilities where humans are given a very base education, and taught to look forward to being swallowed.

So long story short, no matter how lovely and helpful they act towards eachother and just in general, the truth remains that they're a self-indulgent society that breed, raise, deceive, victimize, eat, digest, and excrete human beings without mercy. It's considered healthy, sexy, and proactive. They idolize happiness, and that comes largely from enjoying the best food. Because predation is in their nature. So why feel guilty? Their lifestyles are built on positivity, but their civilization and continued existence are deeply founded on wickedness. That's what makes them lovable. Yet… That's what makes them true monsters!

Writing is a complex skill and there's no one correct way to do it, so it's hard to give advice about how to learn aside from just trying to write often and always do your best work. But I'll tell you how I write my stories so you at least have an example.

>start with the basic scenario idea, basically who's eating who, why, and in what setting

>come up with characters to fit the different story roles, their names, and general personalities and appearances (details of personality and appearance can be fleshed out as you actually write the character)

>decide which characters will be viewpoint characters, or if you want 1st person, 2nd person, or 3rd person omniscient (I usually write 3rd person limited alternating between pred and prey perspective)

>make a bulletpoint outline of the story's scenes and what happens in them (this is more important for longer stories and probably not necessary under ~5k words)

>pick an interesting point to start the opening scene (ie don't start with exposition, start with action or dialogue and fill in exposition around that)

>write through each scene in chronological order, inserting viewpoint changes or time skips at natural points (think about scene changes in a movie)

>once you get to the end, go back and edit it relentlessly until it's as good as it can be
