Comiket 92, a with it came a few works of vore that were only released on the spot and for a limited time online. And then the books are gone.
As someone who despises seeing good content disappear, I would happily put down money to acquire some of these books and properly scan them.
But the trouble is, I don't know where to look before it is too late. And I can't seem to find a search term common for vore on japanese sites.
If someone has information, tips or help with where and when I can search to find these books, then I'll purchase and upload the ones I am able to.
(Strict monster/tentacle vore is not as high on the priority since there is a lot of it already, but monstergirl or similar is high priority.)

This might be just what we need, thank you very much.
After digging around and sifting through some proxy purchase websites, I have some update on how the quest is going.
I have sent a request to Zenmarket.jp who may be able to purchase the book in store, potentially. Though I have yet to hear back from them.
Checking in with some smaller proxy buyers I only found a couple and many seemed to either have requests down for the moment or weren't available.
However, the biggest thing so far is White Rabbit Express, and this I need some help with.
They seem professional enough, however when I entered information about the item I could only paste the link to the page, it didn't ask me specifically for what stores it could be found in.
That is strike one for unsure practice.
I did, however, note down in the information where the book could be acquired.
It calculates the cost of domestic shipping and fee for the purchase and gives me a cost for the item before shipping. However, it seems they want payment now, despite not having confirmed they can find or purchase the item.
That is strike two.
Does anyone have experience, or advice regarding proxy buyers in general or White Rabbit Express specifically.
We are getting closer, but we are not quite there yet.

Today I am bringing you an update on the rescue mission.
It is going well. The book is purchased and has been delivered.
It has in fact gone so well, that once I told a few others how much it cost to get a hold of this book, then chipped in for a bit of the cost. While not a lot, every bit was appreciated and has helped.
At the moment, however, the book is still in the box.
I have a scanner, but it is not being helpful. To the point where I have actually given up on it. (Turns out not all usb2 machines are compatible with usb3.)
Hence, the next objective is to acquire a scanner that actually works. Which, further adds to the costs involved.
If anyone has any recommendations for a scanner, then don't hesitate to tell me.

There is some news I have to deliver.
As mentioned earlier, another person did get ahold of the book and reported they had set up everything already, including debinding the book, so that they could scan it.
Hearing this, I decided to give them some time to do this, messaging them and exhancing details.
However, they haven't said anything in a while, I gave them until last weekend to respond. And yet they haven't.
As such, I'll be preparing to scan the book instead. Unsure what happened to them or if they even ever had the book to begin with.
However, with my schedule being what it is, I won't get any time to scan the book until weekend rolls around. Sorry to say, the wait is going to have to be a little longer.

As the namesake implies, preservation is something I value. At the moment, I am stuck between the preservation of the book and the preservation of the content.
Had this other person I am speaking to not debound their book already, I would have scanned it by now. However, since they have and are willing to scan or even send me their debound copy for scanning, it is a waste to debind my copy as of yet.
Since the window to buy the book is now, basically, over, it holds a certain value.
This book could be scanned without debinding it, but scanning the entire tome would lead to spine cracking or worse damage, which is not something I want to happen if there is already a debound book ready to produce considerably better results.
Yes, this is quite an awkward situation for me. However, since it might take longer to get a hold of the scannable copy, I am planning on scanning part of the book already.
There are definitely some sections which could be scanned without causing harm to the book. While it will not be everything, there will be something to show.

As a small update, I have scanned 2 of the book's comics. Isutasshu's and Zemrica's contributions.

Already there is a new batch on the way, with some vore related books that I couldn't find scanned anywhere else. Most are from a few years ago and are thus bought second hand, but hopefully one can get out some decent scans from them still.

A dedicated scanner is quite difficult. Getting a hold of books sold online in japan is difficult and costly enough, getting the ones only sold at stores or events raises the price a lot.
So to have someone dedicated, who would spend hundreds of dollars when there comes books like this, is not the easiest. Especially if they have to break each copy they spent that amount of money on.
Again, I would have bent my copy were it not for hearing about the one who already did so they could scan it.
It still bothers me that the person holding the other copy communicated so very little, in hindsight I should have ignored them. But in the moment it seemed to be the best decision to wait and scan a copy better suited for quality.
But yes, it is embarrassing. And it is a shame for the person who debounded their book, but again they did so themselves after being prompted by a ton of people eager to see the book. It is a big shame really.

This is completely correct.
In fact, the whole reason that I started this thread was to raise awareness of books being lost like this. I didn't know this book existed until the day it sold out online (which happened to be the day it was released) and that was a terrible feeling, to see it lost.
The attention should be given to these books, for people to post when they find something interesting, share it with the community in a place where people who could buy it can.
Therefor, I urge those who read this, post those works of interests you come across and don't let them fall forgotten.
It is difficult to get a hold of books when we don't know their name until a big *sold out* label is plastered over it.
