A Women as a main character or hell even a Trap, Black, Chines or what have you would be fine if they are developed well but they do not do this now. They just slap on the fact it's "NEW!" and "Diverse!" and only push the sex. Many NPC's just like to virtue signal so they have something to cluck about on social networks. It's not 100% about the game to them anymore it's about them looking progressive to others and trying to shine or stand out "be the first to" before every other NPC in the world jumps on the "shout-out" train.
I wont be buying it because if they don't do anything new then it wont matter and it seems the story is going to be shit if it's just going to ride in "I'm a badass gurl!"
