It seems the industry want to sell fads, but I wonder if the games we

Indie now means a " company that isn't owned by a hardware producer and has less than a country specified amount of employees"
This is how companies like Zenimax and it's many shell companies like ID, Tango and Bethseda can classify themselves as indie. The second part is how companies like A2M/ Behavior, Mad Dog, Ninja Theory, Double Fine,etc. retain their "indie" status.
Sony, ironically tried to buy up indies roughly a year ago. Didn't work out because the games were pure garbage. No longer are there any Cave Story type games hitting the market. The separation of niches is gone. Shitty waifu games that were made to appeal to one specific audience are now branching out to appeal to people who hate shitty waifu games, but love poorly made puzzle and racing games. Fighting games are trying to appeal to people who don't play fighters by luring them in with guest characters and simple controls. Forget game balance, listen to the hive of loser on twitter!
I could rant on and on about this topic, but this place is cucked harder than half-chan and everything falls upon death ears. Gaming is dead, discussion and discourse is dead. Just food for thought, on the off chance you aren't a spook demoralizer (demoralizing the 5 people who still visit here). The first time I took a serious look at politics was Jim's gamergate videos, and then the 2016 presidential election. And at the time, taking a mere glance around at how thouroughly controlled every institution, heart and mind was, it was clear the corrupt and insane had already completely won the war. There was no going back, no rewinding the clock and no fixing the rot that had already occurred, our civilization's prognosis was terminal.
That being said, there is a kind of merit and honorableness to fighting against impossible odds. And what if everyone shared our defeatism? Imagine if the tyranny that's destroying everything we love had absolutely no pushback, whatsoever. The infection would literally spread that much quicker, we would lose that much faster. Every time the media takes a discontented look at their own ratings, every time a pink-haired otherkin rages about pronouns, every time a Qtard-believing chad smacks around an antifash in the street, people on the left realize that not quite everyone has been brainwashed yet. And I feel as though a lot of people are even waking up to just how controlled and cucked the rightwing is as well. Even people as cucked as Sargon of Akkad, Stefan Molyneux or Styxhexenhammer666, still fight the fight, and still drag minds away kicking and screaming from the left's agenda.
I'm thankful that some still resist, hopeless as that resistance is, that I can still enjoy what small window of sanity and luxury I still possess. Because without even that small bit of resistance, The Great Reset would have happened yesterday.
