There are a bunch of articles about e-thots complaining that their simps aren't giving them as much money as before, and some studies reached the conclusion that the whole/simp money is finally drying up, with all the money going to either companies or non-simp individuals who never spend money on streamers.
Most people don't even care about e-celebs anymore, and even between those who care, most are the lazy type, that don't pay for anything and just browse whatever free content is available. And even between those who waste their money wit streamers, they are the type who can't economically plan anything in their lives, so their reserve of money, large or small, isn't being replenished. They are losing all their money, not recouping, and are unable to keep paying e-celebs.
So, yes, the bubble is about to burst any time. It took this long because of a very small number of simps who where whales that had a lot of money and were too dumb to invest it properly. Now the consequences are amounting.
