it's a hollywood-ized WW2 but I guess
for others there's its sequel, which casts you as a member of the french resistance
and I can't think of much else

disregard that I remembered a few
Dynasty Warriors (the original fighting game)
Romance of the Three Kingdoms 4 (port) and 6
Soul Blade/Soul Edge (fantastical but a historical setting)
and there was an Uncharted waters game (Japan only, no patch available)

It isn't historical, but Driver 1 & 2 are non fictional, I still love driving around Cuba from time to time.
