i can't for my life of me get into long story driven games so the only genres i consitantly play are fighters (specifically japanese fighters) and racing games. i used to play alot of story driven games but now as an adult i can only enjoy short arcade style games and since you don't really need to rely on the campaign on fighters and racing games i love that you can just hop on for a quick 10 minute session and move on. any other genres similar to this? i'm starting to get bored

Not genre specific, but maybe you'll find something interesting enough.
If you're able to do 15-20m at a time, SC2 matches are about that long now with the current ruleset, but I'm not sure if you can do this offline anymore. Diablo 2 can be played in small chunks and has a nice waypoint system to keep the progress. Quake 3 can meet this if you care to play fps vs bots with matches about that long and there are endless maps to pick from. Doom 2 WADs have gotten pretty good and that has a save system you can use at any time when you want to stop. If you're into platformers, Super Mario World has an endless supply of rom hacks with relatively short levels and easier kaizo hacks are especially good for this. The Arcane Dimensions mod for Quake 1 has ~20 levels that don't take much longer than 10m each with some of the longer ones getting to ~30m and doesn't require you to do things linearly. If you can spare a bit more time, Endless Legends is pretty good for a quick map if you use smaller settings.
I don't know many recent games that are good for this other than trash puzzles games and roguelikes and online only afps. Any ARPG pre-gaas might also meet your need.

I'm adding Devil Daggers to this. The best survival time for that is ~18m, but most runs end under 15m. It's just one survival level, but it's good. Stronghold Crusader 2 can also be quick if you put speed up to maximum, however it's hard to play like that.

rpgs are way to long, haven't played one since ps1 era, whenever i try to boot a final fantasy or mana or whatever about 20 or 30 so minutes i get bored, i spend hours playing nfs and sf or any other fighting or racing game i can get my hands on. they are fund for me because i can play them without worrying about some story and also being offline.

I meant action RPG like diablo, torchlight, grim dawn or any of the other ones where you can fuck around in an area for a bit without any real commitment and just focus on slaughtering enemies. Sorry, I don't know much about RE/SH style games since I haven't played those in forever, but Thief 1-3 might be similar enough for you and there's a thread about Gloomwood here that could end up being good in the same vein.

Unironically try Blizzard's Heroes of the Storm.
Games typically last 15 to 25m. Kinda similar to a fighter in that there is a lot of work put into making the characters varied and appealing, there's different stages, not really a story, etc.
I tried it on a whim last year and it turned out to be really good.
