I don't know if anyone else here has been following this mod but from what I understand it's basically like the TF2C mod that /v/ played back in the day.
This basic ass mod has been delayed since January becuase these autists are waiting for a website to be made for them.
The mod still has a semi active discord of people asking when the fuck it releases and the dev giving the same sorry excuse.

Yes, you can disable all weapons to stock (with options to allow or prohibit stock reskins eg: festive/austrailium/promos like big kill/lugermorph/ironcurtain
Hell you can take the Cannot Airblast attribute from the phlog and put it on the stock flame thrower if you want to get turbo autistic about it.

Well, if you want to get back to it, from what I understand is that for a long goddamn time, there were "vanilla" tf2 servers, and threads that went on and on about how "modern tf2 free 2 play bAAAd" (and don't get me wrong, there is shit wrong with modern tf2 new airblast is aids, removing being disarmed from sandman stun makes the weapon practically worthless in a regular sized game, ambassador falloff because it was a jumper stumper)
Thing is though, if you play modern tf2, it's SUPER easy to check your backpack, and in your backpack if you started playing like, 2010-Present there's an item called the "Mercenary Badge" and it says what day you started playing tf2.
Take a wild guess what year most of these people started playing

The point is nobody wants to go back to a truly 'classic' experience.
The point is people want to play new maps
Just because you don't like pony cosmetics (or cosmetics in general) which I do get, doesn't mean I want to play the old granary, old spy with its terrible backstab detection, old pyro without airblast, or demoman with 6 nades.
The point is also with how unoptimized the game is to simply get it to run better.
January is right around the corner. Just wait.

I've read somewhere that with tf2 it literally doesn't matter. Oh well. Dead game people only play shitty death match like it's 2006 and I'm playing cod with a controller. Death match is a terrible gamemode too reliant on luck. Might as well just play Diabotical. Rest of the servers are dead.

TF2 changed at one point. Everyone has a different update they point to. Meet your match, mannconomy, whatever. It's basically a completely different game now than when it use to be. Instead of being a cohesive well constructed package it's bloated out the ass and a huge mess. For every good thing they add there's like 5 bad things. That's not even considering subtle things, like how the Heavy use to be way tankier because there wasn't 100 different ways to make him take minicrits. Even the community is way different, although some community servers still have the spirit of the old game. I find myself playing PVKII a lot more than TF2 these days, which resembles old TF2 a lot if you ever catch when a ton of players are on. Tight, cohesive, no bloat, good community, good humor that isn't absurd or reddit "LOLSORANDUM" shit.
There's a reason a lot of people want to go to an older version even if the newfags who never played it say otherwise.

I've said this before. All TF2 players who've 1. played the game for more then 5 years and 2. are playing post-2017 are just fucking sad. They're usually trannies too.
