I watched a little bit of the Pewdiepie footage from the game. Aside from the UI I think the game looks very nice on an aesthetic level. Also the game has voice acting for some retarded reason.

Someone I know beat the game in about 4 hours. It seems the "main draw" is the new game+ system so you can replay the same story over and over again with tougher enemies. If that doesn't smell like a lazy cashgrab no effort ripoff I don't know what does

Eh it was ok. I beat the game's first difficulty in about 4 hours or so. You're supposed to replay it in higher difficulties just like Diablo, but even then there's only 3 difficulties and one runthrough is pitifully short.
The story is dogshit, and the mechanics are bare-bones, but at least the game looks pretty and has a good ost. It also uses verticality more than any diablo clone I've ever seen, although it doesn't do anything too groundbreaking.
Very casual arpg aimed at kids who recognize the minecraft name, but you can still have some braindead fun with it if you don't mind. Not really worth $20, and the paid DLC can fuck right off.
