Games like these bother me. They get so enveloped in their own storyline that they abandon making improvements to gameplay with the gall to assume that the plot can not only compensate for it but indirectly improve on it as well. Letting your protagonist get raped doesn't make a good game.

The "game" was little more than walky/talky feelsathon that would have worked better as a movie, but if you tried to review it as a movie, sonyggers would pop up claiming hurrdurr you can't criticize it without "playing" it.
But now, nobody is playing the sequel, because the story is shit and the gameplay isn't worth 60 shekkels (despite game mechanics being objectively better than in the previous game) so all the shills who claimed that a mediocre B zombie movie plot was enough to justify defending gameplay so bare bones it feelt like a glorified QTE at best, and brainless padding at worst are now sucking a big salty dick

I have no info on sales, but if the ps4 online store price is any indication then it's declining. A month ago the last of us 2 was the full $80.00 price; two weeks ago it dropped to $50; now it's on sale for $40. For some perspective, Red Dead Redemption 2 is still the full $80.00 and remains a great game thus justifying the price.

I just finished the game, it isn't even worth watching on youtube. Consider the first game to be the final ending to the story and forget the second one even exists. It's that bad and given that the excessive woke nonsense has already been touched on, ill just focus on other problems. 1) the length. The game is waaay too long for a fucking video game and the pacing sucks. It tries to cram an entire TV series or a film trilogy into one game to pull off the narrative which "subverts expectations." 2) the story makes no fucking sense. Like at all. I cant even remember what abby and owen or that trans retard were doing in the aquarium or what their goal/mission was. When asked why she is helping the trans retard, abby reveals that she "has to" and that it would be "good for her," and no other quest motivation is given. At least Joel was initially smuggling Ellie for weapons and a bond formed in the first game. 3) every character is completely unlikable. Even Ellie comes across as a dyke bitch in the second game. Joel is a complete pussy and dies immediately.
What pisses me off the most though is that they could have done anything and it would have been ok. Even a simple gta open world where you sustain the community would have been great. Everything about the franchise reeks of filthy jewish tricks and subversion techniques, especially the damage control.

I honestly enjoyed it mostly because it was so violent like to a technical detail probably the most violent game ever and yeah sure the story and characters are pretty shit but goddamn it's just so fun to literally shot,stab and blow up people with the most gruesome detail I alway's hate it when games are rated M here for Blood and Gore and the detail was so lack luster when what is capable to be with today's technology I just find it lazy.
