It's worth remembering that earlier in his career the christian right was the SJWs of the time, complete with the presumption of moral authority and attempts to crack down on problematic media. Like SJWs this attracted a disproportionate number of liars and scumbags taking advantage of that presumption of morality. The allegations being true would fit that stereotype, but I haven't looked into them much and with the timing it seem impossible to say.

The reason is that Woo created a Facebook group called Magic for Bad that was unmoderated and basically for shitposting (the name is a parody of a group called Magic for Good).
