I went through a phase when all I watched was 1930s films on youtube. They were fantastic. Only about 1 hour long, good tight storylines, and the aesthetics are so incredible that I cannot believe those films are less than 100 years old.

Yeah there used to be real craft to the work and even on low budget shits you can see the fundamentals are all there in a way they mostly aren't anymore. No one knows how to make a movie anymore or no one who does can get a job.

Yah, its like there was this living tradition in film-making that developed every generation until, I dont know, 2010(?) when digital essential make the film-making tradition obsolete. One of the things I most like about old films is how all the actors are just slightly over-acting. It presents better when being watched. Even the early "naturalistic" acting was better, but now the acting feels so flat. It doesnt even seem to be acting, but lightly editing improv.

Jokes aside, women were gorgeous back then. I have never seen a woman in real life that I would describe as classy and gorgeous. And I swear their tits were bigger in the past.

Will do. I remember thinking Double Indemnity was pretty cool just because it was about some guy that got caught up in some black widow's scheme, and as soon as you think he might get away with it, everything unravels. It's kind of the opposite of American Psycho.

Very underrated noir film that is based on a real story, with beautiful cinematography John Alton, and a climax that was copied by Carol Reed in The Third Man (1949).

Yeah, but I am really autistic about audio and picture quality, and I am addicted to audio commentary tracks.
And, of course, https://annas-archive.org/ for all your books, magazines, journals, &c. The Internet Archive allows you to search through their archived books, which is very handy if you are looking for anything specific.

You might be surprised at the quality available on archive and ok.ru. Sometimes though you just have to accept that a shitty print is all that's available though. One that comes to mind is "I Love Trouble." I never could find a solid release of that one.

I have watched some films on The Internet Archive (Berkeley Square from 1933 film) and YouTube (Murder by the Clock from 1931 with Lilyan Tashman), but usually as a last resort.
The version of Berkeley Square on TIA was actually in much better quality than the torrent I found.
