Think of God as growing a peice of himself. Not to much, not too little. Every action meant to teach someone something about themselves or others.

You might try being evangelistic, if so try to learn greek of hebrew or one of the original languages of the bible, a lot is lost when translating a text

Also, be careful as to what could mean some texts really, there are lots of metaphor and the bible is really poetic, be careful not to misunderstand something.
