I had a friend from when I was a child; his and my fathers were good friends. After my father was no longer a part of my life, he had stopped talking to my friend's father. When I had eventually had the pleasure of conversing with my father again, he'd spoke how how he'd like to be able to sit down and catch up with my friend's father.
He didn't have the opportunity to do so.
